Please correct me if I am wrong here, but to date, are all charges related to the Capital Markets and Services Act?

If so, and upon the release of the FFU, if (and I emphasise the word "if" ) it infers, suggests, implies, etc. that serious misdemeanours have possibly occurred, then surely it would be a case for either MACC or the Police to investigate thoroughly and make charges to whoever they deem complicit.

I'm not a lawyer and haven't had a chance to discuss with any of my lawyer friends about this current update, however as a layman I would have thought this would have been a rational step with the current situation. Of course, it would only be an option if there was detrimental information published in the yet to be released FFU.

stockraider, even if bankers and investors win, most likely karim already hide all the money and ready to declare bankruptcy. He will continue to enjoy his ill gotten wealth via his wife and children.

remember, karim said serba did nothing wrong, and many retailers believed in him and average down, and average down again until lose everything. for karim, other people's life is nothing as long as he got his money.

If proven true that financial statements are false n it did lead to big rise in stock prices. Then those insiders profited millions or billions thru own personal shareholdings. If AGC allowed only fines with no jail terms, sounds like a good deal. I suppose I could pay those fines with the profits I made from stock market. Not even a slap on my wrist lol

Too many sheninagans in the last few years. The biggest let down was Transmile CEO making a disappearing act when the court judgement was announced. OMG, it took a decade or more to bring this case to conclusion.

Unless Bursa Malaysia and the government of the day protects the integrity of the local Malaysian market, I am afraid, there are only a few stocks for long term investors in the Bursa.

AG is to prosecute or not to prosecute the case . if prosecution is not required , it means there is no case . But the case is decided to be compoundable meaning someone has committed wrong . AG should let the legal recourse take its course and let the Court decide if it is punishable by compound or otherwise ?

1. Bumiputra Company
2. Sarawak Based Company
3. Many major government link shareholder still hold huge ticket in Serba
4. Serba involve in many government link project for years and their CSR program also benefited many

So with only compound...you know la the share price sure go up as it indicate no major problem and dust settle ....
