other plantation stocks r making money..but this one is losing money due to poor management..better sell off all the plantation lands n distribute money to all shareholders..n no dividends declared also..

undervalue like many others no up.....now bursa no fundamentals at all,only push up what they suka or what they hold and wanna sell.retailers really broke already,2nd and 3rd liners sleeping but big cap mostly all overvalued.even profit down the stocks not down a lot cos being cornered

but issue is what r the plans forward. it seems to be lacking a solid plan going forward.
if i m the major owner, i will be tempted to take it private to raid the cash pile if this play makes sense.

Chiayee the company is still planting, currently it has only 882 hectares mature (harvestable) out of 4,090 hectares according to the latest annual report. and they are still expanding and they are aiming for 50,000 hectare long term. i foresee in 1 to 2 more years they will start making profit.

GOLDEN LAND's main business segments include oil palm plantations and property development.
Its earning performance has been overall fluctuating in last five years, whereby its earning per share overall fluctuated from -10.66 sen to -33.73sen. In 2016, the Group disposed 9,812 hectares of its oil palm plantation in Sabah, and refocused on developing greenfeld oil palm plantations in Indonesia. Currently its plantations in Indonesia are mostly at the immature stage, hence not generating significant profits for the Group.

The GLB's stock price has broken its highest level in a year. Technically indicates the price of this stock is in a very strong bull upward tend. Coupled with the high price of oil palm and the good sales of its factory buildings, the share price of this company will surpass RM1.00 in the near future. Good luck everybody!

The company has both plantation and property development activities. If you compare its performance with that of the Bursa Planation sector, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KhboTCMdEg) you will find that Golden Land ROE for the past decade was much lower than that of my reference company – KLK.
Secondly, the Malaysian property sector is not exactly booming currently.
