Now P/E 4 to 5

During Palm oil Bull Run years of 2007 to 2012 P/E were 20 to 25

So there is great value now

i was curious as to what P/E ratio was TSH trading at in previous years..... shock to find out 2016-44x, 2017-19x, 2018-38x, 2019-38x, 2020-19x, 2021-12x....... and surprise2, current 2022 forward Q1 p/E is only 5x,,,, talk about potential upside

Calvin Tan, where is your EPS guidance?

U buy while cheap

2022-06-07 12:20

ahbi

cyclical stock

2022-06-07 19:43

calvintaneng

yes got short cycle as well as long cycle

should could be weeks or months

long can be like 7 years of Joseph Egypt famine time

or like oil price rise from year 1970 during Arab oil embargo for 50 years now

now this palm oil bull run looks like going to last a long time more just like Arab oil embargo in the 70s

if World weather havoc last longer who knows palm oil bull can last for a decade

2022-06-07 20:04

calvintaneng

this time it looks like palm oil prices can be very high for a long time due to

Ukraine & Russian war

2 world war lasted for 6 years from 1939 to 1945

also world population growth while less lands for food and vege oil

also high cost of fertilizer

plus drougt and flood

all these will keep palm oil prices elevated

2022-06-07 20:09

calvintaneng

then palm oil shares will go up in multi year bull run

2022-06-07 20:10

ahlekteogm

Ukraine war will not likely affect CPO price. High fertilizer cost will not increase CPO price. Supply & demand will.

2022-06-07 20:22

calvintaneng

Supply of food and palm oil have limits due to limited lands

Demand by world population growth will be ever increasing

So demand increases while supply decreases prices must go up

Last time in the 1960s one basketful of gombak durians with 25 Big durian fruit inside only cost Rm25

Today one small durian cost Rm30

2022-06-07 21:12

calvintaneng

Yes 60 years ago
One big durian was only Rm1.00

Today one small durian cost Rm30

IN ALL THE WORLD VEGE OIL PRICES ARE IN STRATOSPHERE

PALM OIL PRICES WILL BE ELEVATED AND PROFITS WILL INCREASE BY LEAPS & BOUNDS
