Cimb already came out with official announcement denying merger is off. Cimb will be penalized by bursa if tomorrow make media announcement merger is off. Cimb cannot make a U turn announcement.

After the meeting on the 14/01/15 regarding the merger n if they don't agree then they can announcement that the merger is off. i think the Bursa has no right to penalize them. Trade at own risk

It looks like the party who wants out is not CIMB.
It could be RHB who wants out, as long as there is one party not in, they cant proceed and deal will be off.

Likely insider got news Rhb taiko has up its condition to merge, which is unlikely to be met by Cimb, so they r meeting today to discuss

If merger go thru, Cimb will fall thru rm5 as Rhb now demands better term, meaning if accept Cimb will be even more disadvantage. On this logic, no way for merger to go thru.
