When Li Shufu the man himself negotiate the deal he is not going to do a losing business . You can say DRB Hi have no choice . The Chinaman says he wants a foot hold in the Asian or South East Asian market. Come on people how big is proton share in the Asian Market that interest Li Shufu? The crown jewel is Lotus by Colin Chapman and his top SUV seller is the Boyue and you can bet Proton will model their SUV according to this. The company will make money and correspondinly DRB Hi com will too. Apart from Volvo, Geely also own 100% the London Black Taxi Cab. Note also Geely are not interested in the Shah Alam plant. The operation is moving to Tanjung Malim. Why ? The machines in SA are obsolete la. Li Shufu may look stupid but he is another business genius. At 1.59 imho you can collect!

It's a long way to recovery. Probably the fourth quarter of 2017.MOU, finalize only by end of July. If old man man make more misery than welcome geely, probably another scenario like Iwcity. Knowing QR result is negative what do Investors expect and react, very likely nervous and panick selling when announcement is made normally end of the month.

This ia what I gather. The process of getting Geely as a partner in Proton will take some time. From the signing of the heads of agreement last week, will have to sign definitive agreement in July.

After that, each company need to get their respective government approvals and approval from their shareholders at a EGM.

For the deal to conclude, it will be by the end of this year or latest by end January 2017.

Still got long time to go. Maybe that is why people sell. To me, I think this is a done deal, if your investing horizon is 6~7 months, good opportunity to collect on weakness.

Careful when you trade drbhikom cash warrant. C32. At current mother share it's only value at 0.0428cts.imagine when drbhikom down to 1.45 it's value is zero cts when expiry date on 31st August. Check with your Remiser. As for C26, zero value when it's 1.55rm and below.
