So much of hypes in the discussion. I have noticed & monitored this stock closely even before the announcement, I think the timing could still be very much unknown. If it's not in the near term, the share price could go lower than 1.50 after the 1st Q. Good luck if you think vroomm...

（吉隆坡20日讯）吉利控股将手中宝腾股权，转移予旗下吉利汽车，为进军东南亚电动车市场铺路。

在香港上市的吉利汽车，今日透过港交所公告，透过子公司Linkstate，以10.63亿人民币（约6.72亿令吉），向母公司吉利控股，收购宝腾49.9%股权。

吉利控股直接隶属创办人李书福所拥有，这家中国企业除了持有吉利汽车，也掌握着富豪汽车（Volvo）多数股权，同时也涉猎房地产、科技和电动车等领域。

该控股公司2017年入主宝腾后，带领宝腾扭转当时每况愈下的处境。

该控股如今将手持的所有宝腾股权，转移予旗下持股约40%的吉利汽车。

根据公告，获得宝腾股权为吉利汽车进军东南亚创造契机；双方也会共同研发宝腾品牌旗下的电动车。

宝腾的另外50.1%股权，归我国企业多元重工（DRBHCOM，1619， 主板消费股）所有。

HAHHAHAHAH, mostly just rumour, but MMC pattern similar with current situation. Until announcement day only spike top volume and suspend trade in half day. It got a similar low momentum period around 1 months before announcement.

POS Q4 loss 98m eps -12.57 share price down 0.02 or around 3 %
DRB Q4 loss 100m, eps -5.18 , share price down 0.17 or around 9%

so , those buy because of potential privatization is now panic selling because of the impairment loss that could be written back in future?
Poor result is normal for making a cheaper privatization . which means , privitization is coming soon. They cant make another impairment loss for next Q. Anyhow thanks for the cheap tickets.

The quarterly loss was mainly due to impairment on assets in certain subsidiary companies amounting to RM176.5m. Without the impairment on assets, this quarter is profit making.
