Share split means no change in paid-up capital. But take note that due to increase of shares circulation, the share price will adjust accordingly. For example, if the share will trade @4.00 now, after share split it will trade at 0.80 ($4.00 divided by 5).
Prior to the share split (1:5) TDM has increases their shares by way of Bonus issue (1:5). the cost is much lower if the bonus adjustment is taken into account
so 5 x RM4.5 - (5 + 1) x 5 x RM 0.75 - RM 0.22 x 5
= negative RM 1.10 for equivalent 30,000 units
u're actually making a loss ...based on RM 4.50 price before it went up and if u based it on RM 3.23 before it went up to RM 4.50 then above RM 5 ... u actually making big losses
think they r selling at 3.90 but wrong key in to 2.90
