tony: bhic quite volatile, if you want to get mid~long term investment, why dont you try 2 buy boustead. there are good dividend paid & capital growth performance.

the bhic up since they (research firm) rumor bhic will take privitisation. therefore, the stock suddenly speculate to 4.00~4.20 sumthing. they dip back since LTAT & Boustead clarify wont privatise bhic since they still nid public capital for financing purpose.

i agree with u also, since their son like uac, pharma, affin had announce quite good result in net profit increasing. so, boustead price had potential growth between 15~20%. keep tracking in this stock.

This is one of the undervalued stocks. Boustead is not `exciting' but it's a solid company with good dividends. A "must buy" if it goes below 5.00. Should go to 6.00-plus within this year.

Boustead is a diversified group. main interest lies in plantation, finance (AFFIN), property development, heavy indutries ( BHIC), petrol retailing ( BHP Petrol), manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, education (Nottihman) and REITS

Strong backing from LTAT(Armed Forces). Tan SRI Lodin also Board member of 1Malaysia. one of the most under valued counters. but shares are tightly controlled. one of the key reason why this counter is underperforming.

Good fundamental company. Dividend yield of 7% (2x FD rate).
Low PE . NTA > RM 4.
Subsidiary - Pharmaniaga Bhd reached year height of RM 11.02. Good to hold.

It gonna be a commercial development. You might need to hunt down the consultant team (Architect,C&S,M&E & QS) who are doing planning for the 1MDB, they got the 1st hand information, normally they don't speak much to keep the info P&C. If consultant team don't speak, hunt down the vendors / suppliers. Project of this scale, they need help from vendors/ suppliers in cost estimation. Those who are in the construction line know how to hunts for this information.

I'm aware of that LWK is related to 1MD & Boustead :).

Secondly, our mentality need to change, we always complaint about bribery everyday but we do nothing about it, and sadly we practice it :). It has to start from 1 point & I believe it should start from us.

Wonder why investors aren't interested in Boustead, judging from the low volume? It is involved is a wide range of businesses, including the consumer sector. Is it because of concerns over BHIC which isn't doing too well at the moment? Anyway, if I'm a fund manager, this is one of the counters I'd have in the portfolio due to its regular dividends plus rather stable share price.

Boustead quite similar with NCB since low volume trading, so no much people want to buy this type of stock. for me, i will pick up this stock due to stable price and good dividend yield.
