Actually when I asked if there are any plans to list in the US market, the response surprised me. Datuk did not say "No, there is no such plan" or "Maybe, we mat look into it". He said the group is always looking to unlock shareholder value. So to me, it's not a question of "if" but when.

Added 80lots at 4.66 today to my portfolio. Will keep holding it for long.
Since above comment discuss about the possibility of US listing. Based on Mr.Lim recent interview, he never deny, mean there is the possibility.
Year 2023, the revenue contribution was distributed to 30% Singapore, 30% Malaysia and 30% US, the rest is from other region.
Singapore is listed as GenS, Malaysia is listed GenM, how about US ? personally i take this as a bonus. This is especially the Resort World Las Vegas which commenced in 2021, has contributed a significant amount of revenue. hotel occupany hit 90%. This is a new source of income to Genting berhad after covid.
Let assume it is really listed in US, the money from IPO will help to reduce borrowing in USD, cash flow will become healthier. This is all a bonus. Without this IPO, Genting is still generating pile of cash especially in recent quarter. Thats why i am so positive on this. Perhap this stock will stay low until second quarter, then investor only have a clearer answer. Sorry for another long posting.

US listing is not easy…but welcome as Genting will need to improve its governance and behaviour otherwise it will be fined for sure. So this a welcome sign for shareholders as we want to transparency and full compliance which US listing will bring. Also US listing is expensive and demanding reporting requirements!

其实Guru 说的对，tourism sector 只有airport 才是直接的受益方，genting 还不能算。中国tourist 说, 老子来malaysia, 可以去kltower逛逛，拍张照，去melaka看古迹，去penang 吃char kuetiaw, 去pulau pangkor 看海龟生蛋，去langkawi shopping... 就是不要上genting, 等下衰衰被烧，小命分分钟交待在malaysia.... 你吹得我涨麽？ 哈哈哈哈.. 知没？🤭🤭
