Alzheimer's patients might as well give themselves a 2nd chance in life. Recent news, Chinese scienctist succefully test a cure for diabetes, patients only need 8 weeks treatment to stop dependent on external administer insulin. It's miracle cure, patient pancreas function has been restored. Do they need FDA approved. Maybe in future we only need Chinese FDA approval. Chinese scientist focus on curing patients, American scientist focus on maintaining the disease and profiting from patchy patchy medicines.

Trial centres need to be in Western countries if seeking approvals there. Taurx singapore company but lucidity has no trial patients even in singapore. But singapore has many real life compassionate program patients with abt 90% patients still seeing cognition reversal after taking the drug for 3 yrs . Very powerful.

If lucidity did not suffer placebo issues, this stock already triple in price by now.

Start the market here lah, we just need to know if the drug really works or not.

Coorrporate with the country's health ministry to conduct our own trial lah while waiting. If Taurx is so confident with the medicine, there's nothing to be afraid of. Malaysia do know how to do our own trial for new medicines right? If successful, in no time it will be headline news.

Not available commercially in Singapore. I think compassionate program here stopped already since we already have real life patients' data that we want. Paid compassionate program available in HK now.

@mushi, commonwealth countries will just follow uk's decision so we dont have to do trials in Malaysia. Expensive to have so many trial centres at different countries.

UK, FDA, EMA, China CA/AA next yr. UAE will be the first country to give CA at end of this yr.

-the fire broke out at the SkyAvenue shopping mall
-originated at the second floor of the building before spreading to the fourth floor
-No people were around the area where the fire broke out **

Possible causes
Heat wave? :D
Restaurant fire? Not likely, since nobody in the area
Arson seems likely, a fire could be set off in any shops that is under renovation. Nobody could detect the fire until it's already too late.

Who could be the culprit if it's an arson?
Short sellers?
Disgruntled gamblers?
Disgruntled AGM attendees?
Inside job?

But one thing for sure, if arson was the cause, some turbulence might await the stock price next Tuesday.

Public Announcement on the fire incident at Resorts World Genting (Update)

We would like to inform you that the fire at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting, was extinguished at approximately 7.15pm on 14 June 2024. All visitors were safely evacuated and Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat has given clearance to reopen SkyAvenue.

Majority of the outlets at SkyAvenue will remain open, except for a few in the vicinity of the affected area, which will be temporarily closed.

The "Best of Chen Lei Hits 2024" concert in Arena of Stars will proceed as scheduled. Our theme parks, Genting SkyWorlds and Skytropolis, along with other attractions, are unaffected and will operate as normal. Awana SkyWay will also be operational as scheduled.

In my personal experience from 2009 to 2012, those STI blue chips that had a good run up of 100-200% all fell back to their lows one by one during that period. I was one of the students holding on to them. Everything went back to square one when the tide turned. Your money you decide 😏

There's one thing peculiar I noticed on the latest publicly available outdated list of the top largest shareholders of Genting bhd. There aren't any western investment funds anymore. This is a big red flag. Something turned them away, maybe because Genting too many debts, or LKT's and board of directors' salary too high.

Lim family holding too big at 43%, smaller shareholders are powerless to sway any company policies like board of directors' salaries or decision on signing up more debts. This could be the major reason no big fund wants to play.

Does anybody have the latest/real time Top 30 largest shareholders of Genting Bhd? Please share.

There's another thing that's also very strange, for the past few years, Genting Highland already recorded multiple major fire incidents, this is probably the 3rd one in 6 years.

An entertainment center with the size of less than 1square km, the place simply has 1 too many major fire incidents in my opinion, which led me to question the cause of such major fire incidents.

Was it because Genting Management simply grossly incompetent?
Inside job?
Sabotage?

One can only wonder.
