Guys...dump HY and move to MUDA. The visibility there is too good.

At the most HY will deliver 45 cent eps in Q1 2018.
I am still estimating the low side of ~ 25 cents.

Q2-2018 result would be the death sentence.
(many knows this and would be shorting HY if at all price moves up after Q1 results)

It will never recover until the plant is successfully upgraded, commissioned, and commercially in operation....

by that time god knows what would have happened to refining margin - crack spread.

This is good earnings is further confirmed by latest good earnings by other refinery in the region recently reported for the 1st qtr 2018 loh...!!

It is expected eps of Rm 2.00 for the whole year 2018 can be achieved for HY loh..!!

On muda...this type of business....no economic moat loh....any top dick & harry, can do this type of business mah...!!
Muda ROE only 6% compare to hengyuan ROE 40% loh....!

Very simple maths.....China refiners competes (encouraged by government vie tax exemptions) with asian refined product consumers with an edge (Dubai Crude)...and with ever decreasing local (China) consumption due to electric cars.

For the other (Muda), China paper product makers such as the 7 Dragon are at a reduced competitive edge being unable to source cheap raw material...due to permanent import restrictions.

with a tsunami demand of paper products selling at high price in China, even another 10 Muda paper product manufacturer can't satisfy this appetite.

The simple effect is implosion of margin for HY and explosion of Margin for MUDA.....

This should be crystal clear common sense.

chinese refiners r quite aggressively pushing their products into sea market becos of the need to keep their refineries running.

as long as marginal costs can be covered, the chinese will be aggressive in the selling.

They can even play a bit with the accounts and recognise the profits in another Qr. Be smart. You need luck in stock market just like casino. I suggest you stay put with HY. Else you might be the guy in the casino who keep buying banker but it out player straight for many games. Then when you finally switch to player it went opposite you again.it’s probability, it won’t out player forever just like No stock can go down forever. Or better, stop playing for a while if you have already sold HY. Muda which has already been goreng up might freefall anytime
