PETALING JAYA: The directors of the AIRASIA Group gave their nod in 2010 to efforts by Tan Sri Tony Fernandes (pic) to build the AirAsia brand through sponsorships, said sources.

The board of AIRASIA X had approved amounts of up to US$250mil sought for a sponsorship strategy via a Formula One racing team.

The sponsorship was a way to lift the AirAsia brand and allow it to be a globally recognisable brand, said a source.

the major issue facing by all airline now are flight cancellation and ppl reluctant to travel during this pandemic...just use logic, profit sure drop big time and AA will get hit the most cost the biggest in Asia..

Sell while you can. Quarter results will be bad not until next year which is pretty obvious. Let the tuk tuk guy buy up all your shares as he keeps saying price drop he buys more. I hear this since RM1.80 and still there are donkeys buying up shares here when it drop until now RM1.11 Guys, with founders being investigated, sales dropped , traffic affected by virus where it will drag on at least 6months, how do you see any price improvement soon? Let the knife drop to the bottom first before consider, otherwise you will bleed.

Capital and time both are important, Capital has future value over the time when compounding with rates, while paper loss over long time period is disaster.

As for me the past dividend has been useful beside being part of AA previous success story - "Now Everyone Can Fly"

These kind of Dividends enabled me to build my portfolios in other sectors.

Now waiting patiently to accumulate at RM 1...
