Sale-and-leaseback agreement is signed for X number of years. Regardless of whether you need 10 planes tomorrow , or 5 planes, you still need to pay the lease for 100 aircrafts for X years because you signed the agreement.

everyone are obsessed with this stock at the moment, but whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect (Mark Twain).

Air asia experienced the hardest blow twice in the past

2008: due to global financial crisis
2015: Flight 5801 crash

it took 8 months for air asia stock to plunge to the very bottom after its flight crash crisis in 2015. since there is still no indication that coronavirus will be resolved anytime soon, i think the price will very likely plunge further and slowly recover when the issue is over

p/s: just my 2 cents of opinion
