It is expected. Airlines are very cyclic. Happens every recession, although not as bad as this situation. If you buy now, and AA survives the next year, you can easily see AA share prices go back to RM3 by 2023, and will have less competition too as all the smaller budget airlines would have gone bust. But if AA falters and goes bankrupt, you lose everything.

AA is famous worldwide, so after all they make Malaysia proud too. It`s ironic if they ended up as a PN17 company. They have weathered so many storms. I made my windfall when it fell to 0.80 cents and shot back up. They did manage to recover a few times. But this time, the chances look bleak.
