happynoobie who said bank cannot be fintech, the most obvious example locally is DBS which had move into fintech in a big way. they have build up a whole new banking infrastructure and the team running it work more like a tech company than a bank.

never underestimate the ability of traditional bank to adapt to new operating environment, they have the resources to do it, the biggest problem for them is not the money but changing the operating culture

aarrgghhh... it was tempting to push just now... just pushed about 12k lots on BUY mode with 3 transaction... will reload more next week... as i need to dispose some fund from HKEX probably next week and move here, today not a good day to sell in HK today due to major selldown there with Mainland China exiting due to fee hike...

I dont mean that Banks cannot be fintech, but is definitely not in their blood. Banks have too many red tapes, risk control and often banks are very cautious. Banks definitely got deep deep pocket, but speaking about fintech, i still think banks are slow.

@lanikai No way that will happen, he is just the DG and I doubt the PM will allow this from an economical standpoint. The tourism/hospitality industry will be more or less wiped out if that is the case.

Yup... those who want to travel can travel but have to vaccinated and to have vaccine passport as well...and that's should be no problem. DG will agree into this as he know that the tourism/hospitality industry are one of the factor to contribute economy growth.

Those investor feel that airasia will bye bye soon...no need to invest ..can go to other counter ,,
