Just be cautoned do not be taken for a ride by pump and dump operator that claim Air Asia will be in the money when travel is open. Airline is a tough business..cost of fuel jet also all time high so that would mean the passenger load needs to be very high above 80%

Oil prices above US80 is too expensive for flights and we need 80% load factor which is not possible for endemic situation. I do not think it’s wise to buy . NTA is also negative
High vaccinated rate countries. Stadium full when a football is scheduled. Are we waiting for the stadium to fill up. 80 Dollar is sufficient for good profit... Read the financial report... Of course there is other counter that may have better prospect. Just the trend elsewhere shows airline is one of a good take during the transition of opening borders.
POV,PE, NTA, Profit, glove counter meet all this, it’s wise go for Glove. Why here wasting your time typing long message here. We are seeing the samemsg since AA price 0.6+ till now, anyway u r the not first dumb doing this.
Two years ago at US80 per barrel with 75% load factor, a lot of airlines are making losses. Do you think with a reduced load factor, huge compliance costs, Air Asia will make money. They can only come out of it with new shares issues and or restructuring paying 0.5% on every ringgit which will not be easy for creditors to accept. Time will tell. Japan Air Asia is bankrupt, Thailand unit is going under and soon Air Asia X and so is Asia Asia. Banging on recovering is too optimistic. More people are suffering and air travel not a necessity. Lots cannot even put food on the table. Do not be silly.
PN17 stands for Practice Note 17/2005 and is issued by Bursa Malaysia; relating to companies that are in financial distress. Companies that fall within the definition of PN17 will need to submit their proposal to the Approving Authority to restructure and revive the company in order to maintain the listing status.
May 27, 2021 22:01 pm +08 AirAsia continues not to be classified as PN17 company -A+A KUALA LUMPUR (May 27): AirAsia Group Bhd said it continues not to be classified as a Practice Note 17 (PN17) company as part of the relief measures provided by Bursa Securities on listed issuers that have triggered the criteria for the classification.
"Air Asia will not be classified as a PN17 listed issuer and will not be required to comply with the obligations under paragraph 8.04 and PN17 of the Main Market listing requirements for a period of 18 months from the date of the first relief announcement," the group said in a bourse filing.
The date of the first relief announcement is July 8, 2020, and the 18-month period ends on Jan 7, 2022.
This Tony will not even pay us back the refund and he is now packaging Air ASIA super app to make another round of money for him as a unicorn. He is rich and the bankruptcy’s of AA will not impact him.
Be practical. Not many people would be comfortable travelling on the plane for now and with this in mind, every trip burns money. They cannot even cover the costs let alone make money
There are white paper written on air travel and the full recovery post pandemic will not be so soon. This has not even taken COVID mutations into account. Air Asia will not make it in time given the massive debt .
On border openings, are you confident to buy tickets to travel with your kids and family? Or in reality wait and see! Be practical. No one will support this Brand again! It takes decades to build a brand and a day to kill it! AA customers just swear at Tony for not refunding and you expect overnight the company can fly! To Holland a yes!
There is really no need to bail. If you understand business enaugh then you will know what 0.5 % means. Only long haul flight make losses when oil is expensive. Past report shows even with very high oil price ,domestic flight still make good profit.
I know AA employees swearing at Tony and a lot still drawing a small fraction of salaries from AA! Get the facts right! They have not even reinstate the full salary of employees and making money is not going to happen! Those people promoting this counter has ill intension
