AA has fallen Down But also Hit by a Ladder( rising Oil price )...Pre-Covid era, when Oil Hit $85, Losses on Full operation was from 300--800mil depending on hedging. Unless AA increase Ticket price by 50%
Just rising Oil price will kill AAX operation....demand from Creditors are just secondary. Creditors are just scraping the barrel for residue assets. With crushing Oil price, they donT even have a barrel to look for scraps
If u do not like palmoil plantation as a hedge against inflation & depression, your alternative choice will be INSAS in the technology & financial sector loh!
VERY IMPORTANT!
TO REMEMBER THIS LOH!
"The current of hype of ESG trend which is unsustainable....give a good sound contrarian opportunity for a very strong rebound & upside for plantation going fwd loh!"
PLANTATION THE BEST HEDGE AGAINST INFLATION & DEPRESSION LOH!
The success of the Langkawi Travel Bubble during its initial implementation between 16 – 29 September recorded about 37,000 passenger movements for the Group. Local airlines also benefitted from it with AirAsia recording the most aircraft movements with 176 flights and commanding the majority of the average seat factor at 64% during the same period. The upward trend is further boosted by the lifting of interstate travel restrictions this month that applies for all areas nationwide except those still under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
With seat factor at 64%, do you think AA can make any profit with 176 flights?
Suppose to be below 50 cents during interstate travel ban. But people keep buying with the hype interstate travel will be allowed. So now the price is already at its high n now is correction phase. With the billion of losses the price should be below 50cents. This is a very pathetic stock take time to recover to cover debt etc. I think as long not turning black the stock only worth 20cents.
This airasia should be priced equivalent to sapnrg as of current state ..only that sapnrg now is already in correction phase, while this airasia is overvalued..
Travel open and suddenly air asia is profitable..kikiki..kalau profitable tak perlu laa buat Air Asia digital tu…mana ada airline company waste their bleeding resources to do another business not related to airline core business
Probably AA is another unicorn in making, no doubt. But valuation $10b is only a valuation, that doesnt mean you have $10b in the bank. Today even Uber is making loss in order to expand market share. If AA wanted to break into food delivery biz to fight with Grab, Shopee...etc how much more money need to dump in? and where does money come from? Pls think, people.

Asia Aviation plans to raise a total of 8.8 billion baht from a private share sale to Malaysia’s AirAsia Group Bhd. and an individual investor. That will comprise around 4.5 billion of new shares to AirAsia to raise 7.8 billion baht and another sale to a group of investors led by Pitharn Ongkosit, the chief executive officer of KCE Electronics Pcl, to raise 1 billion baht.

Who is going to pay for the Extra RM880mil for Thai Air Asia fund raising? In last 15years AA has never touch 4.50, that includes the best of the best years in AA History
AA is surely a Contra Counter for the next 2 years. Oil price will stay around 80---100 for the next 2 years. At this Oil price, AA best quarter profit for 2022 will Not exceed 50mil (minus all interest charges for restructuring ) My real opinion is negative 50mil every Qr 2022 but it Hurts alot of Investors feeling....
The fair value of airasia had been revised. I dono how but base on what i see it is what it is now… if you feeling high risk… you can buy then sell just goreng short profit but if you feeling comfortable to hold just hold… or if you able to take risk… just manage your own risk by not invest much in it… personally invested not much so i able to hold longer. Your own money your own decision as i said earlier… if you look for those with low risk then you should go for plantation or financial whichever price that you comfortable… not argue in airasia…
I believe it can be big, but not as big as unicorn.

1.3 perhaps highest already at the moment. Don’t think can reach 1.5 unless it back to 2 billion revenue. Only sound convincing. So i think its okay if 1.1 buy 1.2 or 1.3 sell 10-20% profit enough.

From AAX debt restructure: Class B creditors: liabilities RM' million: proposed debt settlement RM' million Travel and charter agents: 82.69: 0.41 Passengers: 517.13 : 2.59
Do Malaysia has any law to protect consumer right for refund when the flight is cancelled?
Not wasting time here but trying to save some soul. Imagine the sales in advance is now classified as creditor and for every RM 1,000 passengers paid to AAX you are now offer the proposed settlement of RM 5.
You may as well change the RM 5 into 5 one dollar coin and fxxx it to TF ass.
so it indeed end at +-RM1.20 range..congrats to those who made decision to exit at that price point..short rally or not, profit is still profit
next anticipation will be RM1 baseline..RM1 will be a very good baseline for support..if those who wish to reenter again, might wait for another chance at RM1 & keep alert for buying signal when it happen
To illustrate how much passengers can expect to get, the airline said anyone who is owed RM2,000 will get RM10 as “profit-sharing” on the anniversary of the approval of this exercise, adding that they will get similar returns for four years after that based on a specified formula outlined.
In the details of the creditors contained in the statement, AAX owes about RM600 million to passengers and travel agents, thus it will have to pay RM2.9 million as settlement if approved.
