It has been quiet since the end of October. But looks to have found its bottom. I'd say downside risk is minimal at its present price. I'm waiting for the speculators to come back again, see more daily volume. From past experience, this counter can be very rewarding.

UEM Builders the main business is on infra work (KLIA2, Penang Bridge 2, MRT etc..) & UEMS the main business is Township Development (Symphony Hill Cyberjaya, Mont' Kiara, Nusajaya, etc...)

invest2mil the court case is deem positive news as the case is closed as stated below:

"Reference is made to the announcement dated 7 August 2008 by UEM World Berhad on the above. The Company wishes to announce that following the filing of the Notice of Withdrawal by the Applicants with the High Court of South Africa, Durban on 12 February 2014, the case is now deemed to be closed. The communication of the said filing by its solicitors in South Africa was received by the Company on 17 February 2014.

2013 sales of RM3bn
UEMS sold RM3bn worth of properties in 2013, a 22% yoy rise. Of the new sales, 63% came from its Nusajaya projects vs. a 73% in 2012. 4Q sales amounted to RM880m, up 115% qoq but down 30% yoy. The RM880m sales came largely from Residensi 22 (RM400m), Teega (RM170m) and Arcoris (RM100m). Unbilled sales were flat qoq, but surged 75% yoy to RM4.1bn.

2013 KPIs mostly met, new targets for 2014
UEMS did well in 2013 and met most of its KPIs including new sales, net profit and ROE targets. Management introduced its KPIs for 2014 including: 1) revenue growth of 25%, 2) net profit growth of 10% and 3) ROE of 10%. These targets are less ambitious compared to its KPIs for 2013, but decent given the larger revenue and profit base and the more difficult property market environment.
