For TAGB the supposition of higher dividends are based on these factors:

1. Trump Hotel Canada now completed. Condos all sold. So now no more expenses. Hotel Operations will garner Cash flow.

2. Sale of Little Bay lands will add rm700 millions cash to pay down borrowings.

3. Hotels and Resorts are bringing in constant flow of cash

4. So with less expenses and more surplus cash dividend is expected to increase.

And TAGB looks more like a safe Reit with Rock Solid undervalue assets still listed at Old Book Value.

A lot of value to be unlocked. Most of the ppl just simply say property market not good. Can not buy property stocks like TA and TAGB. They overlook the land bank that is undervalued.

Example : KLCC land is valued at RM580/sq.ft. in the book. Market price is RM3,600/sq.ft.

Tony and Alicia are laughing happily and taking advantage of this ignorance. They are collecting the shares at super cheap price.

A lot of value TO BE unlock...many had been saying that for decades including Alicia Tiah....today still talking, most probably the next 10 decades still talking. Even if TAGB make money in hotel or property investment (and maybe from unlocking the values of its properties), most likely these profits + further borrowings will be ploughed into stock market gambling by the management. Dividends??? Minority can slowly wait and see who lives longer. LOL

hopetobecorrect...hundreds and hundreds of millions throw in stock market in every quarter. I presume management spent 90% of their time looking at computer and stock market. As to why..I can only assume management aspire to be Warren Buffet.If they had spend their time focussing on property development, hotel management and property investment, today probably TAGB would have been an index counter. From day 1 of listing it is known that TAGB have land in various part of KL and that management had been TALKING about developing these land. They are still talking

The following points are to be noted :-

1) Financial statements and cash flow statements for the first quarter of 2018, will come out at the end of May''2018. ( The reports for Q4 2017 is not very good )

2) The company's long-term development prospects

3) TAGB must to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement on before 28 June 2018.

4) Basically, the share price drop after ex-dividend date because the share price of a company trades in the market without the dividend.

Co's long term development prospects is next to zero. It should be the Co's extremely long long long term development prospect. Kakakaka.

As for the public shareholding spread. I don't see what is so big deal about this.
