At current price, any fundamentalist investor would be willing to enter a batch before everything .. its a bargain. Coal price and profit generation of the company is still intact with the ICPT. However, how long does coal price remain high is not something we can anticipate. Risk tolerance of each of us is important and buy according to your own risk level. If you're uncomfortable, cut loss is inevitable.

dun be fooled by the dividend play, if the ability to maintain the future cash flow is damaged due to the recoverability issue of the ICPT, same will happen to the ability to pay dividend. layman term, if the company cannot collect it debt via its customer or government, how can he continue to pay u dividend from his bank account??

INvestment is about looking forward.

do u think how long will the ICPT maintain no increase?as we know as msian almost every year or 2 years sure revised up after election (depend when parliament disolved now or one year later)..last man standing game..u will find it hard buy at this super attractive price to be honest..

Tariff is revise after 2 yrs as the RP3 is from 1st Jan 22 - 31st Dec'24. The ICPT is revise every 6 months. If there is a discount in ICPT vs actual production cost, the difference will be bear by government which is called government subsidy.

Oct 2018 = RM2.15 (drop 3-fold from peak)
Feb 2021 = RM6.60 (increase 300% from bottom)

Tenaga
May 2018 = RM16
Current = RM8.00 (drop 1-fold with slow downtrend over 5-year)

Let's how low it can goes? if touch RM6-7, can start to put on my radar.
