Gamuda bears most of the risk and all fundings. Doesn't seem fair and this is reflected in the share price.

Need RM6 bil to RM7bil funding and just less than 10% PAT.

The true benefit will only come in 2027 when the reclaimed land can be sold.

This is a long wait for investors

The Island A is attractive as it is near to 2nd bridge and also the airport. Gamuda is doing differently to create own land bank via reclaimed land approach. Also, Penang government holding 30% stake of the SRS therefore should be fine moving forward. Financial risk of Gamuda should be relief if the sales of land started early. Initially just require capital to kick start the construction. Correct me if I am wrong.

Gamuda is no ah Beng company. They made the proposal. They know what they are doing. Don't have to worry. Buy if you have confidence. Only obstacle is politics! Otherwise there are another 1000 companies you can put your money.

Current order book is 7B + now 5B. It should keep gamuda busy for 3 yrs. But it said the project should tk approximately 10 yes. Meaning only 500m of work per yr if average out? Then gamuda revenue will start dropping??? Hmmm

Penang island is so congested now. Therefore, these 3 islands project will boost Gamuda. Probably once kick of the sales of first section of land on Island A then we can see it flies.

Foreign funds pulling out from Malaysia, MRT3 news is nothing to be excited about. More over this stock is not cheap anymore.

MRT3 starts in the 2nd half this year.... merely a dream after GE15. it shows GE15 is goming soon. They will try to sign contract before GE15 in the rush. Even preliminary designs come later.

Moo is going to lose. New government suspend the work.... or suspend the work for realignment design... or suspend the work for re-tender..

Hurry to start the work in the 2nd half, is so fishy..

If gamuda want the job, need to engage people as the existing staff are too busy with MRT2. But if government change after GE15, the risk is high. Secure the project now is not a good news. Secure the peohect after GE15 is better.

Is not a buy call . i am sure tomorrow morning, rhe price will be shot up, this sentiment may subside very fast... but i think careful investors may have different sentiment
