Today I feel like burying more money as fertilizer for TSH oil palm. There is no way oil palm will die as it is the most productive oil in the world. 1 Acre of oil palm produces more cooking oil than any other cooking oil (sunflower, peanut, olive oil, etc) in the world. Oil palm is the cheapest in terms of price to weight ratio.

China steamboat uses so much oil, in fact China consumers drink the oil in steamboat like drinking soup. Indian cooking and curries uses so much oil, if you cook at home you'll know the recipe for curry requires a lot of oil. 2 of the largest population in the world consumes so much oil, and the cheapest source of oil per litre is palm oil. Of course u can use sunflower or peanut oil, but when it comes to budget and value, nothing beats palm oil.

Even nutella gave up changing oil and came back to palm oil la budak budak... end of the day, cost and value matters. Nothing beats palm oil. Sometimes china and india play politics and talk about reducing oil palm purchase, but end of the day people need to eat and their culture and cooking revolves around using a lot of cooking oil... Unless everybody convert to eating salad only and use olive oil, there is NO WAY in hell that oil palm will run out of business. Even your hypocrite self also eat outside and the restaurants are definitely using palm oil la... u think your char kuey teow uses high grade sunflower oil and sell to you at RM7 per plate?
