I think in coming 1 or 2 years, companies with cash rich will have good opportunity to excel whereas companies with lots of bank borrowing will be in big trouble.
Higher CPO price coupled with the sale of land in SPU, expect to have super good result and big improvement of NA in Q3. Hope and pray for a decent dividend soon.
IOI estimated more than RM600 mil needed to redo all the old botak plants. Dat means Bplant is paying about RM1.4 bil for a terrible plantation. Better to buy from Felda.
@YAPPY162, Thank for your posting. We shall wait and see will bplant crash in DEC..I am in deed so surprised that bplant management did not do a good survey job before deciding to buy this piece of useless land. I thought they are so experience in palm oil plantation industry. .
Wah, come to think of it if Bplant don't call the deal off, we sell first. Wait till Bplant go to about 1.40 sure the management will call the deal off after they do the complete due diligence. That's when we buy on the cheap, after the deal is call off the price will rise
Now rainy season can't do due diligence on the land right? So assume it take 2 months to do it after the rainy season, we sell down on Bplant until around March la. If world economy is bad some more, then palm oil prices become worse and price will narrow in about 1.30. Then wait to roughly the time of cancellation announcement of the deal only then we buy Bplant. Sure make money dis way one
good idea,.. but i wonder how many people will follow us if we sell...may be LTAT will buy back , and push price even higher, and give you better dividend, and say ..you see, still has a lot of buyers even we made stupid decision to buy this land..haha
Due diligence has already been completed, even S&P has been signed. What is pending is to obtain shareholders approval. Both Dutaland and Bplant shareholders must approve at their respective EGMs.
TheContrarian, the completed due diligence is only basic one. Detailed due diligence is coming after this, see how IOI cancelled earlier deal with Duta even after due diligence
@yappy162, the deal is confirmed already....No more turning back....No more further detailed due diligence coming your way, unless you are dreaming.......Boustead Plantations defends planned acquisition and will proceed as usual.....In the case of Boustead Plantations, despite negative views from analysts, it appears to be confident it will reap gains from the investment and that it will prove to be a strategic move for the group.
bplant existing Sabah land of 27000 hectares was purchased in years 2012/2023 of total cost 868.5 million, the same year, IOI plantation tried to acquire dutaland for 830 million but only 12000 hectares. comparatively, can we deny the fact that bplant management was much smarter to buy those land at a very cheap price. today, land price appreciated in Sabah, the existing 27000 hectarres should worth more than 1,850 millions if base on market value, ,so, bplant make 1 billion in 5 years.
So strange this Yippy68 talking, as if he is like relative or family member of Duta Yap? How he know all these numbers as though the land can appreciate $1 billion after 5 years. Now really sound more n more like a con job. Nobody will sell a land that is going to appreciate so much, then the EGM at Dutaland should prevent their selling la
Talk so much also no point becoz after the complete due diligence if Bplant cancel the deal the RM15 million they paid is refundable anyway what. So maybe we should go buy Bplant now since the deal will get cancelled. If anyone still keeping Butaland shares better drop it la
@yappy, kindly read 2016 annual report of Bplant page 159 you will get the answer. look like you are also holding a lot of bplant share.. good to be your comrades. i only mentioned the existing land that appreciated, read properly lah.
hahaha, @yappy 162 is related to Duta Yap,sure not me. and we are from different category and also he is the great grandson of Yap Ah Loy, Yap Ah Loy was addressed as TAIKO YAP, Yaooy talk like his great ancestor.. I am just an Ikan BIlis.
@IlmuKhodam....bagaimana boleh naik macam roket?....mula-mula cakap "6cent", lepas itu cakap "should be 35 cent", akhir sekali cakap "Maybe 50cent. ^^".....cakap pakai tikam-tikam huh??? nak bodek kita orang huh??? kalau tak tahu main saham, pakailah otak bro....nak agak-agak, biarlah rasional sikit....jangan ikut sedap hati..... tak kanlah bplant nak bagi kita orang 50cent... mungkin dalam mimpi kayangan kot.....
@IlmuKhodam...Masyaallah!!!......50cent refer to eps?
