Curious to know when SD resume trade and what is the fair value ??? By right, SD should be allowed to resume trading as the company is not owned by Abdul Karim and the Directors only. There are so many shareholders including ppl here. So, will not be fair to other investors' money tied up in the share. "Solely my own opinion only".

Let's make a very simple calculation that is not quite accurate but it can provide us with some ideas.

SD issued 3.7 billion shares. Retailers hold 33% of them, which is around 1.2 billion shares. At 35 sen, Serba would have to fork out at least RM420 million to privatise at that price. That's on the retailers part only.

Honestly, I don't even know if SD is able to privatise at 1 sen right now.

No matter how many times SD is restructured , if the same old bunch of jokers and clowns is still in the circus, the restructuring is a futile exercise.

As the reputation of SD has been compromised ,it is no longer the apple of the eyes of the sensible investors any more
