A company can be classified as a PN17 entity due to several reasons, hence such status does not necessary mean the end of the road for them to bounce back.

In Serba’s case, the classification is due to its inability to explain a default payment. By analysis, a company in an industry which entails high capex and opex is exposed to default payment of their bond payment. A close example is MEX 2 Sdn Bhd which has defaulted its coupon payment on RM1.3 bil Islamic bond.

There are a total of 24 companies under PN17 and GN3 which represent 2.65% of the total number of 905 companies listed on the Main and ACE Markets of Bursa Malaysia.

Abdul Karim expressed optimism that Serba Dinamik is able to achieve a turnaround as per Bursa Malaysia’s requirement as the company has a solid existing business model.

“This can be done although the timeline may need to be extended due to Bursa Malaysia’s strict requirement,” he rationalised. “At the end of the day, Serba is very much expected to maintain its O&G business operations as its mainstay at the moment.”

Abdul Karim added that Serba Dinamik is expected to announce its regularisation plan by appointment of an interim advisor after the company’s AGM.

As per Bursa Malaysia’s guidance, PN17 companies should submit their regularisation plans to the market regulator within 12 months from the notice date.

Fundamentally, latest audited by Nexia, Malaysia assets had been verified and it's proven genuine, only pending for foreign assets to be verified further. Therefore, temporary the Nett asset per share is 0.80, while compared to originally 1.03 per share. Means The balance 0.203 (foreign assets) is still on process of verification by Nexia. Thus, Nexia has made a statement disclaimer of opinion, causing SD to be under PN17.

The court case decision will be made (Bursa against SD) today, to compel SD to release the FFU. However, the decision of court (SD against Bursa) will be on 10 February to stop Bursa from forcing SD to announce FFU. Do you guys all see this is actually a wayang by them?

Like Mabel said many times..this stock is not for everyone since it is now a PN17 company. Serba has 12 months to regulate the company..Serba used to be a blue chip counter. Thanks to KPGG it has turned into a Goreng Counter...

Karim already promised to resolve the issues as soon as possible. There's so much stakes on the table for the majority shareholders. So they will make it happen. All they need is time, so Mabel will give all the time they need. As you can see in the Ajam case, cleared. As expected Bursa and SC both are toothless tiger...

In the Worst case if ever it takes Private also no issues as Serba has good track record paying Dividend before this KPGG issues surfaces. Mabel has good experience with Lafarge and MAS when they took private. Make money there. Cycle and Carriage was supposed to be another Wang. Unfortunately some shareholders got so greedy and voted out. So no issues if they take it Private.
Currently Mabel is also waiting for FGV to be taken Private, never happen. This week FGV is trading above RM 1.50 and as usual Mickey Mouse and DickyMe went missing.

Touch wood, in the worst case scenario, Mabel main exposures in Serba is the 2019 Bonus Issues Free Warrants which will expires in Dec 2024. That 's is really no issues after gaining so much from this counter.

Like Mabel said yesterday, Mabel is ever ready with the two scenarios:

Mabel will be waiting to collect at 10 sen and will dance with a RED Dress. Now Mabel is fully loaded due to my recent adventures with Lionel Dnex Messi..

If however it will climb 30% like SCIB last week, Mabel will dance with BLACK Dress

It will be a nice dance once Serba is ready..
