All Malaysians of recent 'Indonesian' ancestry remained staunchly loyal to Malaysia that time, including families of Najib, Muhyiddin, Zahid & many others.

BTW, their parents or grandparents all immigrated to Malaysia well before the official formation of Indonesia as a single united republic, so they were never really 'Indonesians'. But rather just a part of the wider Malayo-Austronesian nation.
