1 pbb share held is going to be split into 5 pbb shares and given the glorious term of bonus shares. Who knows, mbb may join in the fun and 1 mbb share may be split into 2 mbb shares and given the same glorious term of bonus shares. Other banks may join in the fun too.

Those who doesn't know how is bonus issue going to impact dividend, just know that while their portion of share quantity goes up, there is dilution in terms of dividend per share but since you hold more shares, the dividend in total that you will receive will be the same.

This is assuming the total dividend payout remains the same Q vs Q.

Financially, nothing is changed at company level, just your are holding 5 times more number of share, in long run, share bonus is good for price movement, especially solid company like pbb.... Pls remember under long run.... Not short term. Long term holders will be rewarded. Why so many people don't understand. No wonder sometimes price can over shot to the sky. Haha ha.....

The price will be calculated on the ex-date price by 5. eg if the last date of PBB is 25, then it will be 5 rgt.

25 before bonus is not realistic. 20 is good enough for me. Don't forget, after bonus, price will slowly up again. Just hold for long term if you buy low. Not everyday you can find good deal like this proposal. Now, I don't angry because of no dividend. Haha ha....

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 7): Rakuten Trade Research foresees the ringgit (MYR) to strengthen to the range of 3.80 to 3.90 against the US dollar (USD) in 2021 as it expects Chinese yuan (renminbi or RMB) sentiment to improve against the greenback's.

The research house’s head of research Kenny Yee said in a briefing he envisages the new US administration to be less volatile next year, hence expecting regional currencies to strengthen against the US dollar.

“We expect China to lead Asia as the new US administration is seen as a better business partner than Trump’s.

“As the MYR/USD movement is the closest with RMB/USD, we foresee the MYR to strengthen against the USD to possibly the 3.80/90 levels in 2021,” he said.

i gave my salute to those whom knows what they are doing in the stock market and not those degenerate gamblers holding and bagging onto stocks at price they will never average lower hahahahahahahahaha sometimes seeing the contrast between traders vs investors i find that msia had lots of investors that are more gambling type than the traders combined hahahahahahahaha
