There may be some corrections but it is still on the upward trend towards the ex date. First in 17 years, 4 to 1 bonus issue, the power is on.

Before ex date may cross 25. After bonus if keep for 3 months may cross 6. May announce good dividend before ex.

No dividend for Q4 no big deal. They will resume it later in 2021. Just keep accumulating more share units. The share price appreciation in itself is a BIG reward.

This stock wont go up to rm 25 and above. If really reach there, it wont last. Fundamental and technical analysis already show oveebought. Those chase high will be stuck like topglove shareholders stuck at high rise condo. Fair value post pandemic is around rm20. Now the price is higher than pre pandemic. Epf now become goreng fund hahah

@Sweetchocalates Gloves aren't banks. Gloves are up because of the pandemic. We are talking about banks here. Banks recover post-pandemic. It doesn't really matter who is Top 1 in Bursa. I am keeping pbb for long term nevertheless.

Public Bank bonus issue

PUBLIC Bank on Tuesday (8/12) announced it would issue four new shares for every one existing share, increasing the total number of shares from 3.9 billion currently to 19.4 billion after the bonus issue.



Analysts said the exercise would increase the trading liquidity of Public Bank shares, and the lower share price post-bonus issue would be perceived by retail investors as being more affordable.

CGS CIMB Research, in a note on Wednesday (9/12) raised its target price for the bank from RM20.50 to RM25 a share, citing the bank’s defensive qualities amid the pandemic and improved trading liquidity as key drivers for the upgrade.

Public Bank had a one-for-two stock split in 2004 and its last bonus issue was in 2003.
