for me if this counter price below 0.17 then worth to invest otherwise .... as it network foods company is just behide my office. If the products are so sellable it do need to offer warehouse sales for the past 15 years every months 1st weeks of Friday to clear it nearly expired stock.
Unlesss takeover by other company then the story will be diff.
Otherwise the sale of S'pore investment is just merely to cover their other investment losses only.
Warehouse sale will surely have due to the perishable nature of the product. Is whether there is high inventory obsolescence and jump in inventory levels... but seems steady in annual report.
My friend HJey, I mentioned Daibochi's proxy to Nestle's Kit Kat as a business advantage. Here, iafx is asking about calories. I hope you view it within its context.

I am sorry if I have been carried away by my comments.I mean no offense.

calvintaneng- Kudos to u! I hv been a silent follower of this social forum. I'm amazed by yr info sharing generosity & talents - Wow! Not only r u a detailed analyst but a dietician as well!! U r right! Black/dark chocs r very good for the health esp the heart-confirmed by professional dieticians. Looking forward to this good health product though for all in this forum. Dark chocs + upside PM Corp price = LAUGHTER/HAPPINESS (Definitely good for the hearthealth & longevity) :-)
Fortunebull, I saw you at another Forum saying, "you were angry but hungry and need to go out to get some Tudor Gold chocolate. I laughed as it was so comical. Anyway, no use winning an argument if by so doing, I lost a friend. There are no strangers. Only friends we haven't met.
I hope it is not too late for you to get some PM Corp shares on weakness. Many Remisiers & people out there are still ignorant. When I asked a Stock Broker in One Security Firm.
She took a brief look at PM Corp last quarter result & said NFI sales no good - very small profit. She did not bother to check the RM21 Millions profit from Warehouse sales.
This is life. Many just brushed aside rough diamonds like unpolished glass. Only those who seriously do thorough research will understand.
Calvin, do u know if the assets owned by PMCorp are income-generating, i.e. rental? If one division of this company is in real estate then I don't see any investment income from it. Care to shed some light? Thanks.
yesterday I bought tudor gold dark choclate and also bought tesco chocolate manufactured by NFI. Taste wise comparable to cadbury and cheaper for value. Think i shall switch to tesco chocholate by NFI
Good Afternoon again, I must admit I don't have all the answers. PM Corp is part of the MUI Group Conglomerate. PM Corp own properties directly or jointly or through subsidiaries or through the Shares of MUI Bhd, MUI Property, PM Capital & PH Holding & also in unquoted investments.
After 7 years of searching & more diligently in the last 4 years we are still surprised by the untold hidden values in PM Corp. As to investment in Real Estate: PM Corp own a rental building within the 6 acres land next to NFI Factory.
The Penthouse called Tanglin View is an investment worth S$3.5 Millions (Over RM9 Millions). Book value is about RM2.7 Millions.Currently rental value is about S$10,000 (RM25.8K a month) Why don't MUI Group revalue all the assets? If we revalue them we will have to pay higher quit rent and assessment, too.
Another hidden Gem is HERITAGE BUILDING In USA. I need to seek for further clarification from Management, And all the other factories own by PM Corp directly or indirectly are investments.
In this case MUI Berhad own Far More Undervalued Properties. It was computed by another source years back that MUI Berhad is worth at least 80 cts a share in intrinsic value. The actual figure needs work.
PMCorp Operating cash flow is always in the negative even though it reported net profit. No revenue growth The positive cash flow is from divestment Marketing expenses is consistently 20% of revenue for an established brand and no new products.
On the positive side, a lot of turnaround opportunities.
I just based on the fact. My point very clear unless got takeover offer otherwise I just mentioned based on the current price which is up >100% is a very risky, where PMCorp don't no have solid fundamental.
calvin, as cherry mentioned, PMcorp has no solid fundamental and negative operation cash flow as fabien stated. So i am confused between your statement and them. Please clear my doubt
9696 You are in this position because you have not done you own research. Conviction & clarity of insight comes by personal study - to hear and base your investment on someone's recommendation will cause you to be shaken.
Do read the whole tread carefully.
PM CORP SHALL RISE OR FALL ACCORDING TO ITS OWN FUNDAMENTAL & MERIT.
I will hold for long term as like Calvin say. I have bought PMCorp by early of this year. You can go to this forum then you can see my names here. Good.
A VERY GOOD MORNING FROM CALVIN, JURONG WEST, SINGAPORE
PM Corp Will Be Announcing Capital Reduction & CASH Distribution Soon.
Watch Out For Official Announcement From Bursa Website. It Will Be Either October, November or December 31st 2013 Latest. It Will Take Another One or Two More Months to Meet BURSA'S Formalities Before CASH IS PAID OUT.
SUSTAIN YOUR PATIENCE GREAT MOVEMENTS TAKE TIME TO DEVELOPE
price is not moving up, where got money to buy chocolate!!! nestle now 68.72 but why pmcorp stil sits lazily at 0.21. then how to compare with nestle.. at least show some faith to investor. goreng price up to rm1.00 then we will have confident.
Good morning City Trader, Price not moving up is the opportunity to still get PM Corp cheap! Years back in 2009 FOCAL AIM share price was languishing at 11 cts and it was not only lazy - FOCAL was in a coma in ICU.Hospital. That was the time to buy but MR. MARKET TOTALLY IGNORED IT IN PANIC AND FEAR!
Now FOCAL AIM HAS CROSSED RM2.00 & OUR FRIEND, MR. MARKET IS GREEDILY CHASING IT.Do you think it is safer to buy PM Corp or FOCAl AIM now? So City Trader come and join our party, you will be glad you did. Someday, you will make enough to buy many years of NFI chocolates

Well said alpha1, price of PMC may move further but to be at par with the giant ( if possible ) may take longer than we can survive .
