SEPANG, 5 October 2021 - AirAsia Group Berhad (AAGB) today announces it has received the approval from Danajamin Nasional Berhad (Danajamin) for an 80% guaranteed loan of up to RM500 million under the Danajamin Prihatin Guarantee Scheme, which is part of Malaysia’s Economic Stimulus Package following the unprecedented outbreak of Covid-19.

The financing under the Club Facility is earmarked for working capital purposes, which will support staff costs and key operating expenses such as aircraft maintenance as AAGB prepares to ramp up its operations leading up to the re-opening of interstate and international borders in the near future.

Yes need the RM 500 million loan badly for working capital to restart flying again.

1) interstate travel - confirmed date by PM - very soon
2) danajamin loan - confirm
3) last quarter results ie Oct, nov December 2021 results
Pent up demand!!! - coming

No need to say lessor or debtor will make sure you survive la. All these big companies have consultants or experts la. They know the recovery is coming. They know the number or datas. Look at hospitalization or death cases. Worldwide down trend. They know as long as AA survive they will make more money in the long run as a partner. That’s basic corporate relationships. Only so hais think otherwise now they are hiding under a cave called humble cave.
