RHB Investment Bank Bhd said there is a very low risk of the government imposing a windfall tax on the rubber glove sector.

Dear Hartalega supporters, dont be perturbed by Msian politics as all glove counters are presently safe haven play.
Short Term: Uptrend
Medium Term: Uptrend
Long Term: Uptrend
Short term play by speculators or contra players should only buy at pullbacks to suit their risk appetite as no mkt is linear and over bought mkt will elicit profit taking round from time to time. If they do not have have stop loss points but yet can convert to medium to long term investment for a buy and hold strategy even if mkt turns against them as now short term is a dip buyers's mkt which is better for choice.
Hartalega will probably hit my short term selling zone at 10.50 ringgit to date barring any short term negative news to derail its potential rise towards results day on Oct 27.
Medium to Long Term investors can sit out their investment for the next few quarters for at least 12 months visibility to enjoy price appreciation and dividend payout to hit my target of 26.00 in due course probably by 1st half 2021.

Getting closer to the release of September quarter results and plenty of speculations starting to surface about what the profit will be for the quarter. Some say it will be three times the June quarter profit. I won't enter into any speculation. I will believe it when I see it. The only thing that I will say is the September results will be better than the June result, by how much?? We will find out in the next few weeks.If the profit is very high then there is a possibility of a bonus issue. Currently Harta's Retain Earnings is not very big. Bonus issues can only be made if you have enough Retained Earnings to transfer to Capital Reserve. Every cloud has a silver lining, I think very soon it will be time for Harta to shine.

ASP for months of Sept to Dec is rising monthly by between 10% to 30% indicating supply tightness have further propelled ASP higher.
Nitrile gloves market share to gain further momentum with potential 30% growth.
Previous quater result Profit before tax (PBT) increased significantly by RM151.2 million to RM272.8 million (about 124.3%). Mainly due higher sales revenue, lower raw material and energy cost.
So my estimation for next 2QFY21 is about Profit after tax (PAT) 750 million++ above.

Covid 19 pandemic is affecting everyone’s movement and all businesses with the exception of medical gloves and medical products for the prevention of the virus.

Usually Investment Banks including MIDF have invested in so many listed companies. Most of their holdings are losing money.

Perhaps MIDF wants to promote Mah Sing because it has too many Mah Sing shares.
