From the net sometime back..."Che Khalib showed that electricity demand in Malaysia is on the rise, having gone from a weekly peak demand of 14,245MW in the last quarter of 2009 to 15,476MW in May 2011. This is expected to rise to more than 16,000MW in 2012, and to 20,847MW in 2020, said Che Khalib, and will continue to grow by about 3% every year until 2030 when it will reach 24,770MW."

So will YTLPower get the extension of shutdown? Definitely it is not feasible to shut it down as demand of power in Malaysia is high. So it will be likely grant extension or sold off if there's a good price.

Based on 1MDB acquire Powertek and Malakrof acquire Sime Port Dickson power, all have expire date in less than 2 year time, It is high chance that these acquisition is done base on expected renewal IPP agreement upon expire. Therefore, can expect YTLP together these acquirer 1MDB and Malakroff all will seek for extension with lower rate.

Mee too, still holding WB on paper loss, but strong believe it will recover back. The situation now is like opposite compared last year when portfolio holding WB at paper gain.....

Expect insiders to accumulate first before sbb kicks in at higher price may be around 1.70. Same pattern was observed during April and May 2013 period and it might repeat this time.

YTLpower WB
Found the new bottom of $0.505 on 20/03 which was tested on 02/04 and holds. Today it breakout from its immediate downtrend line of $0.56 which is bullish. More upward movement can be expected in the near term and the next resistance is at $0.60 if break will meet very strong resistance at $0.63. Any weakness should find support at $0.56 ( a break below imply weakness) and strong support is at $0.535. Exit if $0.505 is violated. Courtesy of Matrixcool

Raymond, it's fruitless to think TA on a derivative security that has been closely tracking the mother share. 63 cents is no resistance once mother share breaks 1.77, to be conservative. It would be nice if you would share TA on mother share.
