It is understandable why TS Francis Yeoh kept mum. All the participants had to sign non disclosure agreements.
This project is enormous maybe > USD20b. Very few Malaysian companies (even with a China partner) is technically and financially capable of delivering such a huge project.

When price has moved from 70 sen to RM2.35 now, one need to be super careful. If YTLP can maintain the kind of profit achieved in the last qtr, there is always room to move up further. Qtr result to 30.9.2023 should be the key. If PAT drop to say RM500M, which was QTR 31.3.2023 figure, will current price hold ???

If the company is doing well and showing good potential then the share price will sure soaring up , the good example is Genetec , in contrary , if the company share price being manipulated based on news , then it will not be able to sustain , the good example is CFM ..

The share price of YTLPower around 0.50 was on 6/4/2020, the net profit of Q2 2019 result at that time was 70.3 million. EPS = 0.92 sen.

The share price of YTLPower now is 2.36, net profit is = 1.130 billion, EPS = 13.95 sen.

What is the fair price of YTLPower now ?
0.92 = 0.50
13.95 = 0.50/0.92*13.95 = 7.58.

The share price today at 2.36 is cheaper than the share price at 0.50 on 6/4/2020.
This comparison is based on EPS.

I have watch the Francis Yeoh video. He cannot speak on behalf of the Malaysian government regarding the HSR project. Whether the project will be carried out or not, also don't know. Moreover got to buld a railway bridge from Johor Bahru to Singapore.
