this is a multibillion large market cap stock...

movement like this akin to the 2011 Japan's magnitude 8.9 earthquake where the total energy release is equivalent to about 6700 gigatons of TNT (6.7 million megatons)...generating a tsunami that went hundreds of miles

Tenaga National (National Power) and YTL Power are two power utilities brothers. Hopefully, one day they jointed forces together , then it would be as solid as the twin towers that could withstand the tsunami.

Hitting above 1500+ for FTSE Bursa KLCI not an issue. The financial services sector is the largest component constitute> 21% of the CI index. Consumer products comes in second place. constitute around 16%. The 5 largest companies on the finance list. MAYBANK, PBB, CIMB, HLB and RHB. TENAGA and Petronas group are consider heavy weights on the index.

those that are excited about this counter, please stay sound and refrain from directly correlating nvidia's performance with ytlp's performance....it is not even earning a single sen yet for the data centre division, and not even sure whether the margin will be good or not (although we all hope to)

no doubt that the recent share price movement has something to do with AI hype and nvidia, but the more important relevant portion is the earnings from the CURRENT ongoing operations.....please properly read dragon328's articles on ytl/ytlp properly (have patience to read it through, he spent a lot of effort breaking it down in writing for all to see)

Without prejudice or disrespect to any parties. YTL and YTLP emerged as the clear winner in the newly minted FBM Bursa KLCi 30 list. Now YTL and YTLP is reclassify as Big Cap with capitalisation above 10 billion. Remember the FBM Bursa KLCi 30 is widely track by funds manager and investment manger. Currently YTL and YTLP is rank between 23 and 25 placing. The list is top heavy with financial services provider. Here the investment fraternity insurance, retirement have more options rather just invest in banks, Petronas group or TNB. All funds like to have a diverse portfolio. Here YTL and YTLP is in a sweet spot
