Government should only channel aid to those who deserve it not everyone. This kind of disbursement as mentioned by Fuziah is a mockery of the name Bantuan Prihatin. PN, get your act right.
Some poor civil service retirees found that they were not qualified for any financial assistance. But politicians who are earning fat salaries are receiving them. Hope a thorough investigation is set up to find the culprits behind this.
GUYS, Qualification is strictly based on LHDN’s database. Kak Rosie and these politicians who are qualified, there’s something majorly wrong here. It’s either LHDN screwed up or these individuals grossly mis-stated their income.Especially kak rosie that make billions by own saving since she was young! Sure kaki lari tax!
If we look at it positively , the crunch of the covid19 pandemic had exposed various weaknesses in the Govt machineries. I had also mentioned a few regarding foreign workers and maids. Hope the Govt will take note and start collecting and collating all these weaknesses for improvements later.
This corrupt and total incompetence, zero meritocracy and gross mismanagement and maladministration by a bloated Cabinet and bloated civil service and the institutionalized corruption, plundering & injustice has been CONSTANTLY exposed by countless whistle-blowers and relentlessly reported by every international media around the world even the blind could see the last 50 years, but nothing was done about it, and nothing has been done about it, and nothing will be done about this hideous leakages, daylight robbery & wholesale corruption in the next 60 years with the same corrupt politicians in power the last 60 years!
And trust me nothing will change. Most head of depts in Civil service are there because they are the godly race or rightfully called bumiputra. In times of calamity, its this race that will suffer the most.
The “ shortcoming” of this BPN only come to light because of her KP now in public domain This BPN is adapted from BSH which is adapted from the infamous BRIM from MO1 where he readily admitted that Cash is Maharaja !!! Just check with those who did not apply fir this BPN how many times they & their supporters had received handouts in the past which they were not entitled to . There were the ones who had received BRIM were like the Arab donors that could not be traced i.e money taken but person could not be traced !!!The present problems are only 1 aspect of this system
Ketuanan disease is afflicting these scoundrels who are in charge. Simply distributing money that doesn’t belong to them as long as the majority are Malays.
All screwed up. Politicians with salaries of more than RM 20k a month are in the approved list but many others destitutes without regular income, no tax files, living from hand to mouth ,uneducated/illiterate and no access to internet facilities are left out in the cold.
The government system is screwed up maximum. Until now nobody knows how the LHDN really works because if you question them you are marked and blacklisted. The BPN handout has exposed the weakness in the LHDN system and God knows what other flaws exist there. LHDN, please halt the BPN payments immediately and overhaul the system to see what the problems are first. Very disappointing!
The first priority in this current crisis is for the money to be distributed to the people as quickly as possible and so IRB has no choice but to use the data at they already have in their system. The income data in the IRB records is based on the data supplied by taxpayers.
HO Ho HO......The sooner MOO and the herd disappear from the face of the earth, the whole country will prosper. They came in through the backdoor and brought about Corona virus. This is Allah's curse on them. Watch further tragedies and some in the herd going insane. Allah is not to be mocked by anyone..... ho ho ho

Analyst: MCO can be blessing in disguise for those who dare to be innovative
CORONAVIRUS | The movement control order (MCO), which has inflicted a devastating blow on the nation's economy, can be a blessing in disguise for those who dare to be innovative, according to economic analyst Barjoyai Bardai.
wow, So are u saying the economy is more important then controlling the pandemic ? it doesnt take a geneius to figure out that there will be economic backlash with extension of MCO but lok at the bigger picture . the whole world realises the economic impact so we dont need a hald past prof like u to give us the same nonsense . what we need is a control of the pandemic and until any other measures can overcome this we have no choice but to exetnd the MCO .
This is foolhardy and short-sighted. Mind you MCO has already been imposed so the question is have the objectives of MCO been met? If it has not, lifting it too quickly will waste all the costs incurred to put it in the first place. Then wouldn't it be wiser for the government to not have MCO from the start if all it achieves is to merely delay the inevitable? The government must bear in mind that it may be more painful to the economy now to keep MCO in place but it certainly cost much less than when a second MCO or full lockdown is needed if the next wave arises.
Most small ingredients shop that cater for bakery & breads cannot survived if continued shut down & with coming puasa it is their busy period . My suggestion is why not allow them to operate nation wide abide a shorter hours & practice sosial distancing where each shop allow 4 to 5 customers to go in & q 1 m apart & insist all to wear mask. At present some state allow but some do not . Just a suggestion only.
OK to close schools further since most of them are Kids . University students OK for MCO extension thru On line Learning . But this adults Government servants must force back to work / office at least for shorten hours from 8 AM - 1 PM . Can't let them to be laid back @ " lazy " anymore with " free money " guaranteed . They are not retirees after all . Must open shops at least from 8 AM - 4 PM OK stay at home 8PM to 6 AM . OK RM 1,000 fine OR 3 X Prison's Dept Whipping but Not that Sharia friendly rotan.
No point with MCO when all the culprits who actually passing the virus without listening to advise has gotten away scot free while those who jog and go fishing or play football in their own compound has been arrested
Something seriously wrong in this picture and our entire govt set up seem to be ok with this
so millions must suffer without income and food while those responsible for the massive spike from 30 cases in end of February to 4000 now have not been charged for a single offence
Why are those who went against advise and attended gathering and weddings and visiting relatives and photo opportunity for giving mock cheques for donation has not been charged
But those who just speak out of turn against the police in frustration and haste straight away charged for obstruction
When the country is sick, how can economy be revived? You will have dead walking around. Only the funeral parlors will flourish.
The DG of Health should be emphasizing on the health. What is this Professor talking about?
Anyway, this backdoor government has done everything wrong from the start of this pandemic. Emphasis should be more on SMEs and the daily wagers. Why are you people giving the tax payers'money to the civil servants and pensioners who already so bloated? And that silly MTUC, wanted to make termination of staff as an offence?
The government is not addressing the root cause & seem to be ok with it while the rest law abiding citizen suffer in silence . Something wrong in our systems.
One silver lining in this MCO is that fishermen and farmers hopefully will learn to use online platform to reach out directly to consumers. Government has been complaining over the prices of food but never made any initiative to bring the online platform to these people. So the middle men continue to thrive. Hopefully this covid 19 incident will help reset the prices of goods to be lower to consumers! Arbb do something with it.................Maybe its a kaya raya solutions
Covid-19 Fund: Chief secretary announces premier grade public service allowance cuts
CORONAVIRUS | Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali today announced a reduction to the public service entertainment allowance as part of the civil service contribution to the Covid-19 fight. According to Zuki (photo), any savings from the allowance reduction would be channelled to the government’s Covid-19 Fund. “Public service officers in the top management group are also sensitive to the situation in the country. A meeting between the chief secretaries and heads of service on Apr 7 agreed to contribute to the Covid-19 Fund by reducing the public service entertainment allowances (ITK) for the public sector's Premier Grade (Jusa) employees. “The ITK reduction rate for main grade/special Grade B and C is five percent while it is 10 percent for main grade/special Grade A and above.
“The ITK reduction is exempted for frontline officers that receive a special allowance in the Prihatin economic stimulus package,” Zuki said in a statement today. The new Perikatan Nasional (PN) government launched the Covid-19 Fund on March 11 to assist those financially affected by the coronavirus outbreak, with the government contributing RM1 million. On March 27, the government also announced a RM250 billion economic stimulus package to further help the country tackle the economic and health ramification of the crisis. To date, Malaysia had recorded 4,119 positive Covid-19 cases, of which 65 patients have died and 1,487 fully recovered.
