Satanic cult members can and will never be serious because they know for a fact that they are corrupt and will not be able to sit well with truth, fairness and justice. It is just way out of their league thus everything is a joke to them.

HO ho HO, fancyme Don't slandar the satanists! They have simply come to the conclusion that the world and the supreme being that rules it is fundamentally evil (which is not an unreasonable conclusion, really).

I'll take an honest Satanist over a corrupt Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu or Jew any day!

This is the beginning of headache to the Pintu Belakang 8th PM and Tun Dr Mahathir was right, when he said that the PM Muhyiddin is riding a Tiger. With his Party Bersatu MP in the minority and like a 3 legged stool,PN will collapse should UMNO or PAS pulled out from it.He is at best less than a one term PM and after the 15th GE,Party Bersatu under Muhyiddin leadership, will be eaten-up by UMNO for dessert and blue sky and happy days are back for UMNO Leaders to return to their old habits.

wellington sky, If PN collapses let it be.Let the nation go for fresh elections...TUN can say anything but remember he is the one who created this shit...As long as Tun is a live, Malaysian politics will always been in turmoil...TUN will pit one person against another...he started with using Tun Razak and the ultra Malays to get rid of Tengku...then he got rid of Hussien Onn then he use Musa Hitam to get rid of Tengku Razaliegh....then he used Anwar to get rid of Gafar baba, then he Badawi to get rid of Anwar... then he use Najib to get rid of Badawi ...then he used Muhuyddin and DAP ( his arch enemy ) to get rid of Najib...then He used Azmin Ali to get rid of Anwar... (THIS HAS BEEN MALAYSIAN POLITICS WITH DR MAHATHIR).So what are you talking back door back door ....nonsense... do you all know who is the real enemy...

Guys, Since 1964, (56 years), the one main reason for every political problem in Malaysia is Tun M..he creates crisis in order to get what he wants or one arises due to his actions.

Posted by Zillionaire > 2020-04-14 13:46 | Report Abuse

Its fill in the blanks concept. As 114 MP must be compensated if not the possibility of them jumping to PH is highly possible. So no matter the MP have the knowledge or not, even he is qualified or not its doesn't matter.

This is the type of law makers that we have under the current govt. As for PAS now the time for all the their MP to use Mercedes Benz after their frens in Kelantan successfully got it. As for Takyuddin, he dont bother either via economically Malaysia will prosper or not as how they managed Kelantan all this while. The just focus on halal and haram , that's all. See that Women Ministry Deputy Minister from PAS.

Malaysia on the verge going into mess with this government style of administration

Posted by Wellington Sky > 2020-04-14 13:50 | Report Abuse

yes zillionaire, A backdoor government indeed, As the PM admitted, it was not elected by the people. It was brought into being through treachery, backstabbing. Now the perks are being distributed regardless. And all this during a life-threatening national crisis when we cannot even see the light at the end of the tunnel.

To all our responsible leaders, who have the interest of the country in their heart, to G25, to Rafidah Aziz, must we have to sit and watch helplessly, the charade being played out, warm water as a cure for covid-19, doreamon to keep domestic tempers on leash, tick tock to keep amused, a visit to an institution for a specially written Pejuangkita session, the opening of barbershops? Cannot anything be done to hold the ministers accountable?

We seem to be under a government that is directionless, without policies, knee-jerk actions galore, a lot of fish out of water..

It is only because of the clear, unequivocal, steadfast leadership of the Director-General of MOH, that there is some sanity and order

Help. Help, Help.

Giving them these positions is meant to solidify PN government position and not so much for the benefit of the people and country...

Posted by SweetMemoryLane > 2020-04-14 13:53 | Report Abuse

Wellington Sky , Benefit of the country? Don't be crazy.

As Cash-is-King Najib used to say, It's Not What You Can Do for Your Country, but What Your Country Can Do for You!

As for the people? Piss on the People. We just bribe them come election time, or jail the opposition.

Posted by SweetMemoryLane > 2020-04-14 13:53 | Report Abuse

All these past leaders came out in the Last election and kicked out BN. One idiot ex PM because of his ego screwed PH. Now you want our past leaders for their help again.

Posted by SweetMemoryLane > 2020-04-14 13:54 | Report Abuse

Perhaps Rafidah should join PKR and lead us to the next election. PH need new faces. Anwar, LGE, Mat Sabu should take a backseat and let some fresh faces lead. PH has a good chance to win but we need a huge revamp of PH.

Posted by QuellingBlaster > 2020-04-14 13:57 | Report Abuse

HO ho HO, Surely the backdoor government knows that there are no free lunches? The fact that these frogs hopped, in the first place, is based on the big reward that was promised to each and everyone of them. So, now it is pay back time. They need to have a piece of the pie and since the ministry positions are already over-filled to the brim; why not pyut them in charge of the GLCs? Accountability, Transparency, Honesty are not pre-requisites for these people. If they are, we would not expect them to jump like frogs. And more importantly, they can continue to champion their mantra "BMF" - BUY MERCEDES FIRST. HO ho HO

Posted by MoneyMaker168 > 2020-04-14 13:58 | Report Abuse

That cushy chairmanships of scores of major GLCs and government agencies are being dished out to practically all MPs who have not been appointed as ministers or deputy ministers illustrates how insecure the backdoor PM Muhyiddin feels about his leadership position.

When the captaincies of these key entities which may make or break the nation are unprofessionally distributed like spoils of a victory, motivated purely to strategically entrench the leader’s position, you know that the country will soon go into deep trouble.

Such a reckless and ruinous strategy will run the economy aground, in addition to confirming the weaknesses and vulnerability of Muhyiddin’s leadership.

This ragtag backdoor coalition, which sneaked in to run the country without the people’s mandate, is obviously taking the country’s governance a giant step backward.

No income during MCO causing many foreign workers to starve

Those in the rural areas are a lot more badly affected than the workers in the urban areas, says the migrant rights NGO.

that those working in the construction and manufacturing sectors are badly affected."They can't go to work, therefore they are not paid and do not have money to buy food.“The situation in rural areas is worse than in urban areas."They are stranded in remote areas with less help, or no help at all," Aegile said.

The activist added that in urban areas, at least there are local groups providing assistance to help migrant workers.Currently, the activist group has identified such vulnerable foreign workers in rural areas in Kedah, Perak and Johor. Some factories have resumed operation

However, Aegile said, some employers have given positive feedback in providing for the welfare of foreign workers.“Some factories have resumed operation and the workers are allowed to stay there instead of having to commute to work. Food is also supplied.

wellington sky, It is good that there are organisations like Tenaganita and individuals liker Aegile Fernandez looking out for the welfare of Foreign workers. There are here because we brought them here. They are here because we needed them here. Each of them paid huge agency fees to come here. Their families back home need the income the earned here. Now they are caught by the lock-down along with millions of others. Some are looked after by employers. Many are not. They must work to earn. Without earnings they cannot feed themselves. And are totally dependent on government aid or charity. We must look after them. When the lock down is lifted we will need them. Our businesses will need them.

HO ho HO Tenaganita can see, can feel and will stay united with foreigners and illegals only. They can feel the pain of these foreigners but not Malaysians. Yes quellingblaster, We cannot but be proud of the dedication and commitment of Malaysian NGOs very involved in the epicenters of social miscarriage like Tenaganita or Cassa.

While its obvious of that eerie silence and non reaction from Malaysia's Kementerian Sumber Manusia or their best dressed minister!

Even embarrasing is the lacklustre response and incompetence of foreign embassies here namely, the Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Indonesia and India's Indian-Muslims?

Is it because of that deep rooted fear that they fear unlocking that Pandora Box of their documented, mostly undocumented and others who have abused the tourist visas to work here?

Malaysia has already called out the embassies!

Where are they?

It is time the no nonsense tolerating Hishammudin made personal calls to their ambassadors here.

Failing which, lets have a massive range of arrest and deportations of illegals here.

Kita tak nak satu situasi mana - kera dihutan diberi susu tapi anak kat rumah mati kebulurohan!

Elaine Tan, This is what I was referring to when I wrote “Malaysia is about to implode because of government inaction“

Its not only foreign workers who are suffering. Soon it will be 40% of the population

.....and you know what their only means of survival will be....and it’s not growing tapioca

Posted by Wellington Sky > 2020-04-15 13:21 | Report Abuse

And Isn't it long overdue for our cabinet ministers to take a hefty cut in their salaries and perks when the large majority of the population is struggling with unemployment and loss of income? They have been practically doing nothing other than saying some of the dumbest crap.

Posted by Zillionaire > 2020-04-15 13:22 | Report Abuse

wellington sky, Ask government or former employers for help but if entering as illegals then cannot help and whoever responsible to be traced and and make them pay whatever expenses to send them back to their countries of origin. How come only in Malaysia so many illegals lurking around and who responsible to smuggle them in without proper documentation. Are the agencies responsible all sleeping without doing any work?

Posted by Wellington Sky > 2020-04-15 13:23 | Report Abuse

zillionaire! Legal became illegal once visa expired or runaway from former employment. For many, getting in and out of this country is easy. Just money paid. The agencies are not sleeping..but paid to shut an eye. Once illegals are here, these agencies will catch them and rob them. In some cases, rape them too. And cant have IPCMC either coz majority are dirty and corrupted. Same for other agencies, might have to close all down. They really have no dignity at all, even lying is ok in their believe.

Posted by Zillionaire > 2020-04-15 13:25 | Report Abuse

yeah wellington sky, Not all the foreign workers are legal. Many are illegal and should not be here at the first place. As for the legal workers, the employers are supposed to pay them their wages. What is the government going to do about this?

Posted by SweetMemoryLane > 2020-04-15 13:26 | Report Abuse

Ex umno pm zahid made lots of money with past HMs so they better pay for the food and flights to send them back now. Illegals should not be here. Jobs are going to be down badly and especially illegals will be deep trouble for food so government should start sending them back now before they starve to death.

IMF: Malaysia's GDP to grow 9pct in 2021, fastest among Asean-5 countries

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected Malaysia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) to grow at a rate of nine percent next year, the fastest among the Asean-5 countries, which are expected to see a combined GDP growth of 7.8 percent.

Besides Malaysia, Asean-5 includes Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, which are set to expand by 8.2 percent, 6.1 percent, 7.6 percent and seven percent, respectively.

For 2020, the Washington-based organisation forecasts Malaysia’s economy to contract 1.7 percent, as the Asean-5 GDP shrinks 0.6 percent.

The IMF’s latest 2021 projection for Malaysia is higher than Fitch Ratings’ growth forecast of 5.8 percent.

Global growth is expected to rebound to 5.8 percent in 2021, well above trend, reflecting the normalisation of economic activity from very low levels, the IMF said in a report released yesterday.

It projected a minus three percent global growth for 2020, which is largely affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

“The advanced economy group is forecast to grow at 4.5 percent, while growth for the emerging market and developing economy group is forecast at 6.6 percent,” it said.

In comparison, in 2010 global growth after the global financial crisis rebounded to 5.4 percent from -0.1 percent in 2009.

However, the rebound in 2021 depends critically on the pandemic fading in the second half of 2020, allowing containment efforts to be gradually scaled back and restoring consumer and investor confidence, the IMF said.

Significant economic policy actions have already been taken across the world, focused on accommodating public health care requirements, while limiting the amplification to economic activity and the financial system.

The projected recovery assumes that these policy actions are effective in preventing widespread firm bankruptcies, extended job losses and system-wide financial strains.

Nonetheless, the level of GDP at the end of 2021 in both advanced and emerging market and developing economies is expected to remain below the pre-virus baseline.

As with the size of the downturn, there is extreme uncertainty around the strength of the recovery.

“Some aspects that underpin the rebound may not materialise, and worse global growth outcomes are possible - for example, a deeper contraction in 2020 and a shallower recovery in 2021 - depending on the pathway of the pandemic and the severity of the associated economic and financial consequences,” IMF said.

The projection based on 2020 versus 2021 may even be 10 percent or 20 percent growth depending on the lockdown if it extends into June.
Comparison to 2019 GDP it may be a minus 2.0 or more percent . IMF praising so as loan sharks will be soliciting to lend money .

This IMF projection is based on the "V" shaped economic recovery model which is the popular economic recession recovery model that seem to be favored. Most economist think that the global fundamental economic principles are intact - supply and demand are still present but what has disrupted global demand and causing this global economy meltdown is a medical cause and not a economic cause. Hence economist think that once the covid 19 pandemic recedes; the global spending and demand will not only normalized but increased. This IMF projection of Malaysia's GDP to grow 9pct in 2021 is based on a collective ASEAN projection hence it is flawed. Malaysia's main and pretty much only export is petroleum. Unless oil prices explode to USD 100 to 120 a barrel next year; only then can we see the projected 9% GDP Malaysian. This is unlikely to happen because even if the global economy improves beyond global expectations in 2021, the problem is there is just to many oil producers in the world today and what we hand just witnessed in March 2020 between the Russians, American and Saudi is that no one can agreed on cutting oil production to sure up demand. Secondly, for a country to truly feel the positive global economic benefits is to enter into the global supply chain network. Sadly Malaysia has long detached from this supply chain network. The only two items that Malaysia contributes to the global network is Petroleum for which we are a small player and have no leverage in controlling global prices and palm oil, a has been product soon to be replaced by synthetic palm oil. As for manufacturing, most manufacturing from Malaysia in the 80's and 90's have moved to Vietnam and China and thus Malaysia hardly makes money from Manufacturing. With the PN gov't in place in the last two months that comprises of a globally famous corrupt collation partner UMNO and a Islamist anti capitalism partner; it is very unlikely Malaysia is going to attract foreign investment. Not to mention the lackluster caliber of the current super bloated cabinet ministers and PM and his inner circle does look like the current negative GDP for 2020 is going to be managed well. Hence I think IMF may play a role in solving Malaysia's economic woes for which politicians across the political divide have failed - a bail out from the IMF and world bank. This would be a bitter pill to swallow as both these entities will drastically cut Malaysia's operating cost which will see massive gov't cuts in unnecessary glamours projects, massive reduction in civil servants post, end to preferential treatment in Malaysia business, politicians made accountable corruption and end to dumbo politics which is rampant these days.

Posted by Wellington Sky > 2020-04-15 13:48 | Report Abuse

moneymaker168

In short. Malaysia has been too reliant on oil and not innovative enough to actually progress the nation economically

Both government and commerce has viewed Malaysians as serfs to be used and abused To feed their own selfish ends

Instead they should have been seen as assets to increase the productivity and diversification of the economy

The collapse of oil prices has exposed Malaysia to a reality which Harapan could not deal with. The pandemic will see the end of the Malaysian delusion, because there will be nothing left on which to rebuild the economy.

Oil is down, agriculture in under productive and unsaleable

We can no longer survive on slave labour and pillaging resources

Posted by traderstrades > 2020-04-15 13:49 | Report Abuse

Many of these so called experts get their predictions wrong. Whether it is the V shaped model or not, economists based their opinions on modelling and simulation. IMF is a global loan shark. Lender of the last resort, IMF will target those in distress. Malaysia is indebted but not yet distressed but can be as long as Muhyiddin keeps putting crooks in charge of the cash tills and budgets.

Posted by traderstrades > 2020-04-15 13:49 | Report Abuse

and by the way I cannot find anything on web regarding 9% growth except the Edge Markets, and local websites. If anyone can post a link so we can verify. It will be great if it is true! But was wondering if this is a prelude to IMF - loan shark division offering their package to us. Just saying, anything to do with IMF we should take a step back, otherwise they will swallow us whole like they did to Greece and many other countries.
