I have said this before: "punters/traders like to act on green price signals. But value investors/bargain hunters are happy to see red."

I will let Rubberex's price fall further(by any deliberate actions or otherwise???) until value emerges, before I scoop up good bargains.

Jonathan - you may consider to enter at 0.40.

I have lowered down my entry point from 0.5 to 0.4

Gloves sentiment have not recovered a single bit ever after Us ban lifted from TG.

I suggest to wait a while first. If no, you will get stuck like someone else.

In a quiet market like these days, a lot of bigger buy/sell queues could be planted by the operator, for the purpose of intra-day trading.

I do not pay much attention to any number, until it is tested and proven successfully.

pray that rubberex found their strong support at RM0.50..if even RM0.50 barrier breached, then u guys have to painfully welcome rubberex to their next support at +-RM0.40 or worst, at early covid strongest support at +-RM0.20..& i think RM0.20 region will be the last of the last strong support of rubberex & they can no longer go way below that due to their current operational expansion that is bigger than their previous production

Luckily, I did not make a switch out of Rubberex into any big4. The situation has been equally "dire" for them too.

All rubber glove stock will drop below its pre-goreng price due to massive oversupply worldwide due to influx of new glove factory and massive expansion by existing one during the pandemic. This is coupled with accelerated recovery worldwide. Use that price below as reference (adjusted for capital changes).

TOPGLOVE - 2.12
HARTA - 7.00
KOSSAN - 2.55
SUPEPRMX - 0.85
RUBBEREX - 0.26

It seems like only HARTA and KOSSAN current price is reasonable while the rest still overprice.

Yes, Rubberex passed my 1st test today. Got to see the next few days..

Against the bigger drops of the big4(except Harta, which closed artificially higher with a wide gap), Rubberex's price movement today seems inexplicably resilient..

My likely explanation would be real sellers had somewhat dried up and market operator was made to buy or cover back sold shares higher today???

Recent private placement @ 80 sen brought in cash into the Company and also enhanced its NTA. Now market price has fallen by around 20% from the private placement price. I think at this price it's a good buying opportunity.

This morning(as of now), glove big4 share prices are down again, dragging the whole glove sector lower. Rubberex share price moves lower too.

Rubberex operator chooses to trade the counter down again. I am more interested to look at the closing price of Rubberex at the end of the trading day. Pre-holiday closing prices are usually no good for most stocks.

Cash is king. I have conserved some emergency fund and I can now afford to pick and choose which counters to buy: healthcare theme like gloves or recovery themes like steel, palm oil, technology, travel-related, etc.

Patience is the key word in any stock market game!!!

Why shorties prefer big4(esp Harta and Top Glove)?

I just checked their NTAs per share. In fact, their current market prices are still very much higher than their NTAs per share. But if we look at Rubberex's NTA per share(as at last quarter's report) of 63 sen(excluding the inclusion of last round of PP at 80 sen), the current market price of 62.5 sen is already trading below its NTA per share of 63 sen, lol.
