heard that cimb top gun says ASTRO will reach 3.70..something is cooking...If my theory is right, someone purposely push it down to 2.70 (I remember the support was extremely strong at 2.70), start collecting and push it all the way to 3.70...and settle down at 3.60 within a week or so...Just my one sen opinion...who knows it might happen....

Impossible increase of 0.70 ( 23%), i will say is lucky if bk to RM3.00, those review by other Finance anaysis, this Astro not worth RM3.00 & if those top mgmt buy in RM2.7x, i dun think it will up till RM3.70, if it really up to RM3.70 those cornerstone wont let go at RM3.09 in huge volumn.

I will say..luck if even RM2.97 pray hard those cornerstone not sell huge volumn in sudden!

4sure active buying at the range of 2.72 -2.75 and 2.86 to 2.89 plus AK's nominees bought it between 2.72 to 2.86 n it looks like they hv motive to drive it back to 3.00 n if not beyond .................................................. times wld tell !!!

Today sell volumn only 280k lots, it seem juz less than 1% of total volumn..huge volumn effect the market will be in milion lots..

Anyway tmrw either thunder or sunny depends those cornerstone...pray hard for Astro staffs those with margin loan !

ak is cunning and shrewd businessman...anything can happen...Investment house like PNB & EPF won't throw if they don't get good margin...election comming ...one way to buy vote is to pay good divident...

thats the reasons they make it drop to RM2.72 & thats the reason they push it up to RM2.89...why ? U see:

RM2.72-RM2.89=RM170 x 200k lots =RM34milion gain

RM34million !

Do u see they motive for earn RM34million or helping to push bk to RM3?

Exception apply if there are hero willing to buy in huge volumn with RM2.89 to push to RM3.

Businessman only look at maximun profit & segregate x% of profit for charity.

EPF invested in previous IPO Gas Msia, Felda...etc..gain & gain.

But not this time ...sure there are reasons behind EPF not invest in IPO.

Good divident another 1 yr to wait.. definately after election, no point for buy vote...

Quite sure tomorrow won't drop, maybe gains not so substantial like today....
AK won't wanna be 'korban' for this hair raya by the investors. Expect another decent performance by Astro tomorrow.

Hard to say what price it will reach, but quite sure near rm3 +/- 5 sen.

The key for tmrw up ..if...huge volumn of buy in @ RM2.89.

The cause for tmrw drop ...if huge buy in on 23th @ RM2.72 sell out in huge volumn.

In order to raise Rm4.5 billion in gross...i dun think aim RM3 in short time to let go public's holding..

View generally, solic investment not for this shares.

The fact of huge sell gained few milion on Friday & huge buy in @ Rm2.72 to push the price to Rm2.89 galined 34 million today...

I dun see any good news for small shareholders..but i see 'someone' gain non stop.

Hi Lucky..THaji not invests in Astro coz of the non-syariah cmplient..EPF I don't know..Astro got responsibilities to it's subscribers that strike thru the blue-form, MITI and etc..Within a week price will go up slowly to cool the situation surrounding it's IPO overpriced or whatsoever. This is not for contrarian players, be ready to pickup at any shortfall!!!.

Weird flow if u ssee the chart of volumn buy & sell in low.
Ydy closing sell volumn only 280K lots, the sleeping lots hold by public issue wait for RM3, but those huge volumn hold by Cornerstone (s) not let go...i dun see today any buy volumn except Astro's higer mgmt intent to hold it for long terms.
Thats why i said pray hard to avoid those Cornerstone(s)sell off before Raya...
If follow the trend, once a ipo up & up tp 10%-15%, Cornerstone might let go & trade in slow with small volumn..at least public issue holders can escape with some gain or minor loss...
But this Astro 1st day sell off huge volumn & buy in hig volumn..so public holders no gain or heavy loss...or uncertain to keep..

The WED Astro drop also impact of Global Makret slip & Euro falls...top-line revenue misses by large U.S.NYSE.

I dun see those buy in high volumn helping to push up the market to help those invest Astro with margin loan...yesterday up 0.17 more or less...this is called give to the high end not the end lower shareholders..

Telecommunication 0.20% in global market, this morning the Washington Post highlighted stock market stabilized Wednesday after one of its biggest sell-offs of the year which major indexes rose modestly...one of it happening in Msia is Astro.

The shortfall pick up might lead to more small shareholders to sell off instead of hold the shares, majority margin player which they give up the bear of high margin interest & uncertain shortfall...

margin call tak apa, yang terrible FORCE SELLING...kalau FORCE SELLING nanti...harga akan turun teruk lagi....inilah saat orang kaya yang watching the market beli lagi masa harga dah turun...

Dah jadilah... staff beli harga RM3 tapi top mgmt WED beli RM2.7x, tak boleh imagine kalau mereka sell out nanti...then pasti harga turun lagi..

Tapi lepas FOCER SELLING, staff Astro tanggung margin interest + Contra losses shortfall..tapi at least mimpi teruk dah berhenti, dah boleh agak berapa dah rugi...sekurang-kurangnya tak macam sekarang, tak pasti berapa kena rugi...

The price might come down but at least the panic is over. As long as not to much force selling, the price will hold. Those who got at IPO 3.00 should think long term a bit. Just sit back, don't sell yet and wait.

Panic only over if THOSE( cornerstones) or visible man behind not sell off big volumn..

The prospect or impression fo this shares since launched not good.. i dun think there are buyers to buy above $2.85. Except those rich buy big volumn to gain even earn 0.02 per lot:

$0.02 x 500k lots=gain $10million

The momment they buy in 500k lots definately will up at least 0.01-0.02...but the momment they sell off...bad impact for the price...

A bet that out of our control but might 'hoop' by others...

All IPO should be stable or subsequently up to certain %...

I think after this Astro IPO, Msian seem play smart...

If stable $2.85-$2.88, margin holders might cant go for long run due to high interest & shortfall top up or bank's force sell soon or later...., cornerstone(s) might escaped early..if not they got other profits to cover the losses...

So, stable means Save the best for last with uncertain period of time & treat dividend as bonus to make your day later.
