I do t want to sound poetic, but there are only this few possibilities
1) someone in the political realms feels that this can be considered collateral damage if these ppl are part of the political ploy....UMNO ? Pakatan ?

2) this may be the new May 13 as the racial divide and racial play is not working

3) This is a situation brought about by the Kiram because they feel their presence and their rebel which has infuse into our society in all other part are ready to activate

4) the Kiram were waiting for the best opportunity when Malaysia is weak due to our political immaturity to strike now.

Or 5) a combination of a few......

Which ever way you look at it, it still boils down to how the Internal Security reacts and resolve this .....and as of now, they are looking weaker and disorganized althought we have bigger artillery and soldiers.....or maybe not soldier but commandos......some VAT69 commandos whom they are justifying to be better trained UTK . I can assure you this is a terrorist and soldiers our commandos are fighting.....a guerilla tactician and seasoned jungle fighters. To make matters worst, the rebels in armed conflict do not engaged in exchanges following Geneva Convention protocols......now waving white flag and yet shooting with intent.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geneva_Conventions

So why are our Higher echelons talking Geneva Convention and reasons of not bringing in the military and Navy might?

the Phillipine president said Sulu clan have take the wrong way to
go to Sabah. Whith bandit style and take the law in own hand, it is
easy to Malaysian authority to handle the situation by hook or by
crook. The Sulu clan now cannot receive two their wish easily because
they breach the rule and law, in Sabah and Mindanao. So it is not
goverment fault for this incident. DAP and PKR whistleblower are just
only the crook and have losing hope for winning election. Where is
the Pakatan DEMONstrator hide? Go to Sabah and fight the Sulu clan.
You will not go anyway because your are the real culprit. Isn' it?

And they asked Malaysia to allow them to bury their dead because we should understand as a Muslim nation. What we allowed them to do is to re group and attack again.......not the right and smart way is it? They came back with a vengeance now waving white flag and as a trap.....again not Convention protocol. oh pls common Hishamudin.....you are either stupid or not up to the level to hold such a position.....I thought the PM have give the mandate and all the tough talk and we still get slaughtered....

SPR Sabah: Tak timbul soal tangguh p'raya.

Mr. Idris Ismail nanti anda arahkan pegawai pilihanraya laksanakan pilihaaraya walaupun Rakyat Sabah belum bersedia keluar mengundi.

If you study Sun Tzu the art of war- one of his philosophy are below:
''All warfare is base on deception. Therefore, when able to attack,we must pretend to be unable:when employig our forces,we must seem inactive..bla..bla..
Offer a bait to alure the enemy.when he covert small advantage:strike the enemy when he in disorder...bla..bla..

For me- what Sulu people waves white flag is one of their strategem.. They use all their strength (including stategem, deception and other hoaxes) to make them alive.. so in war we should do what ever strategem to trick enemy. this is support buy Sun Tzu philosophy " ...the general must create situaion which will contribute to accomlishment plan.. So we cannot blame them as not follow SOP or play dirty.Same as what our brother Tommylou said;terrorist do no play the rules!!

i am reading the Black Ops: Operasi Sabah Selamanya! found it to be like a story plot of the highest James Bond caliber! I dunno about this incident no doubt, but ..... ah well, just read the following:

fighting maybe hundreds of commandos in Malacanang, the radio controllers "jantung berdegup", and the seven commandos escaped the scores of Filipino commandos unscathed and in a foreign land? fuhhh...! Suddenly my mind went to a scene of Charlie Sheen's rambo! am serious! :)

iafx, from Mahathir to you! :)

Kerajaan Perlu Ambil Tindakan Keras Terhadap Kumpulan Penceroboh - Tun Mahathir

-BERNAMA

PR may recapture Perak: Analysts

(The Sun Daily) - Political analysts believe that apart from retaining Selangor, Kelantan, Penang and Kedah, Pakatan Rakyat (PR) has a good chance of recapturing Perak in the next general election (GE), Sin Chew Daily reported today.

The report said of the states it captured in the last GE, PR is expected to sail through in Penang but will have a tough fight in Selangor.

Political analysts said although PR regards Johor, Sabah and Sarawak as its frontline states, Barisan Nasional (BN) still has the upper hand in their so-called "fixed deposit" states.

However, they believe PR will still win a few more parliamentary seats in each of these states.

Political scientist Dr Ho Khai Leong said given the gap in the number of seats held by PR and BN in the PR-led states, BN needs to do extremely well to recapture them.

"Selangor is more urbanised than other states. The issues of crime, transport and spiralling property prices are plaguing the people who feel they have not benefited much from the present government."

Ho also predicts a fierce fight between the two coalitions in Perak.

Given that the Chinese are unhappy with the way BN wrested power from PR in Perak after the last GE, it would not be surprising for PR to take over the state again in GE13, he said.

Political analyst Dr Thock Kiah Wah shared Ho's view, saying the Chinese may cast protest votes to "punish" the BN.

On talk that the number of Kedah government policies that irked the Chinese in the last five years may cause PR the state, Ho said the small percentage of Chinese voters would not make much difference.

However, Thock cautioned that the influence of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in the state cannot be underestimated.

A very sad day for Malaysians of all races to hear this from Mahathir our former PM for 22 years.......caption from Mahathir statement

"Mahathir said the only reason the government had “acted cautiously” in the beginning was because the intruders were Muslims.
“We did not want to be hasty. We did not want to kill them because they also have families and friends in Sabah. (And) afterall they are Muslims and we are Muslims. That’s why we acted cautiously at first.
“But they have now acted in bad faith. They have gunned down our policemen.
“Now, the stalemate can no longer be resolved through negotiation,” he said.

But anyway,if our country not prove that we also have strong military power, later we will encounter land claiming from others neighbor country too.
