No point negotiate with a bunch of uncivilized terrorists who only recognize submission through brutal force. Just finish them off and be done with it.

if the ic issue is real, there is no chance to chase them out now or before ge13. Remember they are entitled to vote & their votes are very important if the ic issue is real.. But after ge13, then it is different story to tell...

Every problem in Malaysia also blame it on Anwar, next they will blame Anwar for the fall of the share index. The Sulu Sultanate has denied links to the opposition in Malaysia!

bn defer ge13 to the very last moment thought of showing the result of transformation (a.k.a capability of bn gov). this sulu invasion incident has indeed greatly impact their ge13 plan. in order to win back the trust, the gov must now act fast (accurate) and swift (complete, no more half boiled egg).

polis should go back to the street and sweep those giving supports to the insurgent, potentially highly dangerous small armed group.

the operation is targetting insurgent. illegal immigrant is a long standing issue NOT only in sabah but also west m'sia. prog ic is juz one of it - the root cause of all - corruption.

SIMPLE ANALOGY:
1. If The Lanun SULU are not Philipinos; They are The Intruders/The Terrorist to Malaysia.

2. If The Lanun SULU are combined with the Sabahan who has got an IC; then The Sabahan are The Betrayer to their own mother land, Malaysia.

3. If The Lanun SULU had attacked Sabah, Malaysia without their real Sultan of Sulu approval; then they are The Betrayer and 'MENDERHAKA' to their very own Sultan of SULU.

4. INFO: Kiram iii; The one who launched the attack to Sabah is NOT the Real Sultan of SULU. The Real Sultan of Sulu is Tuanku Datu Mudarasulail

The Malaysian Sultanate System are Smart. The rotation of Yang Dipertuan Agung have gave the chance of each Sultan to become The King of Malaysia.

Unlike SULU Sultanate, so many king's descendant want to claim as Sultan and King. So there goes Kiram The 3rd, who wants to claim Sabah. But the real (Current) Sultan of SULU (Kiram 1) said different things which he said:
"instead of claiming or attacking Sabah, why don't we look at our very own SULU land which need to be develop, why must we attack Sabah?" (VIDEO) Ref: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WKnIFwZyTDA

That is the good spirit of Muslim's SULTAN, no war, no blood, no killing, no tears (unless other people attacked your mother land).

We must get rid them once and for all. Everyone is affected one way or the other. My fear is the aftermath of the exercise even though our armed forces manage to eliminate them...revenge by families/descendants of the insurgents.

Iafx, sentiments are easily provoked. Imagine if you as Malaysian, are called upon to defend your race or your religion, and you don not have readily info! What would you do?
Truly I don't think you can blame them 100% because they are lowly educated and are brought up in tough environment where friend and family are their greatest exposure. Litlle or no access to Internet or information are all hear say, they will definitely retaliate.

I don't know if the tribesman in Sabah apart from being given ic , are they given education?

If so do we blame them or the ones who allow them in with open arms when the powers to be needed them but now they have become rogue and collateral damage?

In my opinion the problem should be squarely blamed on the govt for not taking action earlier to control the influx even much before this incident happen.......

Copy & paste from bloggers,,,

Leader Abjimuddin said his group could not yet determine if the bombs were meant to target them or their followers, but they remained safe and secure and were ready to fight back.

Meanwhile in Manila, a group of protesters have arrived at the Malaysia embassy to condemn the attack.

Earlier at 10.15am: Abjimuddin, leader of the intruders, vented his anger at the Philippine government in a radio interview with InterAksyon.com, the online news portal of Philippine TV channel TV5.

“The government is ordering the arrest of our companions even if we haven’t done anything bad,” he said. “It’s like we aren’t Filipinos.”

Meanwhile, Abraham Idjarani, spokesperson of the sultanate, tells radio station dzBB that Abjimuddin had phoned to inform them of the start of the assault.

I believe they will cool down a bit after the air raid ....this is usually the case when someone shows their might....But why only now, the 6 death amongst our commandos could have been avoided with and earlier stomping!

minitrader, put it this way, revenge or no revenge, sulus (and they r not alone!) r taking advantage of m'sia. it's nature fact that the strong will prevail. this is the moment m'sia to demonstrate toughness, incl the ability to tackle so call "revenge".

tommy, they r not as sincere or "plain" as u might thought. with m'sia ic they r entitled everything juz as an ordinary m'sian. they will weigh either being a decent msian, or go back to bushes. u bet they will stay, but they will not be royal - this is one fact m'sia policy maker must understand - don't rise a tiger that will eventually bite back - don't mix religious with policy

Now the question is, was the sulu intrusion trumped up to get sabahans, even Malaysians, riled up with the suluks holding IC as well as the project IC issue?

Still, we need to find out why anwar and Jeffrey was in sulu in november, to talk to another group not recognised by the Filipino govt, and having the Phil press and even reuters suggesting opposition hands involved? And seriously, why Anwar is not taking them to court in the Philippines?

As for what the sulu sultanate is saying, after reading how his daughter lied with fake Thai photos, I won't take him seriously. Afterall, in the photo he was seen with Anwar, which the international press caught on! Fortunately, another group in sulu offered to mediate. From there I gathered they came in to ask for rent increase. That was the whole motive! But why now? Why when autonomy was raised and the tiff between Jeffrey and Anwar was ongoing?

I like this caption taken from FMT

"When the sovereignty of the country is threatened, the man who should take centre stage other than the prime minister is the defence minister. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should be in the thick of action but this defence minister was playing a bit role. Was he peeved that the army was reportedly sidelined? Is there a “turf war” between his ministry and the home ministry? Zahid was ready to call out the army to crush civilian protests, but did not move heaven and earth to dislodge the real enemies in our home."

When war still got time to push responsibility among the ministry.......

There should be an investigation into where the chain of command broke down. If this was because the PM intervene to make decision when the war broke out then be it he should take the wrap......

maybe, if v can whack the intruders so bad that they will tell the truth in exchange of cease fire, v may know the person behind. sulus r human also yeah, they have plenty of weaknesses, too.

for now, fear r everywhere in the area, this is the time polis MUST demonstrate their ability in executing law & order, they should be seen at all busy area (don't sit in the office no more), small teams of tactical team r ready to fight street battle (worst case scenario). if they can do this, sabahan will gain confident and will not fear of retaliation, rather it will be sulus that begin to fear.

Been on the minds of most of us since last week at least. Even in this situation, Malaysia is still being very considerate...still giving the intruders the chance to come out alive to avoid further bloodshed on both sides. This Kiram - it's so convenient for him... his bingai followers doing all the dying while he cowardly stays away. This is just a wannabe extortionist - he was trying to extract something from Malaysia for his own personal benefits. Well, if we give in to his demands, others will come in with all sorts of claims. Some guy in a remote village somewhere in Minangkabau might claim the whole of Negeri Sembilan is actually his. SORRY! If you come in to our country with weapons, if you break the laws, then you'll just have to pay for it.

tommy, yeah ... having say this, if our law & order is executed in a proper manner, insider will not find an opportunity as easy as this one, right? that's how U.S been fighting all over the globe with extremist, yet they never fear of retaliation.

therefore, while it is important to search for this culprit, but if the overall system is not fixed, there will another culprit like this, casualty will continue... and possibly even bigger case

Najib, Mahathir failed us’
Joseph Bingkasan
| March 5, 2013

A former Sabah Barisan Nasional MP has slammed Mahathir for his sudden contradictory 'Muslims don't shoot Muslims' stand.

KOTA KINABALU: A Sabah MP has criticised former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s statement that the Malaysian armed forces did not take action against the intruders from the Philippines because the militants were Muslims and that “Muslims don’t shoot fellow Muslims.”

Hahaha "what he heard" now? Earlier report had him as saying it as quoted in Philippines press, no? Fast turning out to be a farce.

The thing I am wondering is, did they or did they not made a statement they held our civilian hostage, which incidental also came from Philippines media if I am not mistaken! Our Govt did not answer as its not Govt-to-Govt protocol! Dunno, I still see what his princess did more in line of pressuring Aquino now more and more using Malaysia as a bait! Remember, Philippines also have election coming! If it is true, I wish they could send the black ops rambo commandos to kidnap him and bring him here to face justice! I have every confidence in them now doing this mossad stunt :)

On 2nd thought, whic ever side in msia can tender d highest monies to Sul Kiram will get his revealations in favour of the highest bidder. But the party which wins d GE 13 using this dirty trick, will hav to pay increasing amount of money forever to Sul Kiram to keep this secret forever from being reveal to Msian. l personally wont advocate both side to do it, considering Sul Kiram will always has the upper hand after this deal is done.
