Theorically, if all these fixed income fund parked 100% in Maybank, then they can easily give 6% dividend after deducting some management fee....BUT they cannot do so as they need to spread out their portfolio....that's why they are currently giving about 4% only.

Maybank investors would get their final dividend entitlements earlier this year, the earliest in more than 10 years. Over the past 11 years, Maybank normally paid final dividend entitlements in June or July of the year but this year, we are going to get our final dividend next month.

Today, looking at technical chart, the MACD line falls below the signal line as everyone starts locking their profits. This is an excellent opportunity to collect for Mabel to collect back.

Very Good Harvest today. Mabel started to collect back in 3 batches:

Full year 2022 earnings: Revenues exceed analysts’ expectations while EPS lags at RM0.69.

Revenue: RM24.9b (up 12% from FY 2021).

Net income: RM8.23b (up 1.7% from FY 2021).
Profit margin: 33% (down from 36% in FY 2021). The decrease in margin was driven by higher expenses.

Revenue exceeded analyst estimates by 2.4%. Earnings per share (EPS) missed analyst estimates by 1.4%. Revenue is forecast to grow 7.6% p.a. on average during the next 3 years, compared to a 6.1% growth forecast for the Banks industry in Malaysia.

For this quarter, Maybank gave 30 sen Dividend. Just like Mabel DBS,Tiger also gives us every quarter Dividend.

klu ikut banking fair value PEx12 based on 2022 earning 68.32 sen..ex-div price should go to RM8.20. (conservative)

if take higher evaluation side - PEx13 - RM8.88 (high risk)

lets say take mid-point PEx12.5 = RM8.54 (moderate risk)

RM8.54 0.30 div = RM8.84

So, below RM8.70 consider a bargain lah if buy by this Friday, for long-term makan dividend investors.

If the amount of interest to be waived in order to help B40 borrowers is kept below 1% of its earnings for the year, Maybank's share price shouldn't be adversely affected. Poor ASB unit holders also need dividend payout from Maybank. So Maybank investors can rest assured that the help to be extended to B40 group is unlikely to seriously affect its bottom line.

Correct, that is why even though HLFG is better in term of valuation,
MAYBANK is still my better alternative.

Anyway, I do not expect MAYBANK could give me high return,

Little that she knew that these investment became her biggest breakthrough when Glove Prices rockets to the skies due to exponential demand from the World Market.

With Clear healthy Profits Margin, The Government impose Cukai Makmur to increase Malaysia revenue.

As many have said, Banks should be able to take this cushion as reported by Maybank Research, Banks’ core earnings rose 10% YoY in 12M22, to a new high. Supported by record high CPO prices but offset by weaker production. Fortunately Mabel’s Indonesia Plantation gain from Malaysian weak production which explained why Mabel’s Indonesian Plantation are having Stellar Result when compare with the Malaysian. Despite this hickup, Plantation profits rose 2% YoY and it was the second largest contributor to our research universe earnings. Core profit of Petrochem fell sharply by 31%.
