stkoay,... drb situation different and proton is the only trouble company in the group. the progress of bidding for new business partner's are not only monitor by investors but government too as per loan agreement granted to them last year.

Whenever a stock being promoted aggressively, then do beware. DRBH has already up 30-40% since the FSP announcement. The way that DRBH being promoted for the e-commerce with Alibaba (which is so far off. not even an article for it) and the value of TG Malim plant (RM2.5B only estimated. It will be nothing till they sell it for cash). That is something not right. POS will do well in future. But no way it can make up for the losses in Proton. Have you seen the new Saga? It is comparable with Bezza, the design wise (both same ugly). How many cars can Proton sell this year when economy will be slow down too? Honda, toyota, hyundai etc will continue to eat up Proton's share market. So they have to be hurry before the next quarterly report. Proton sales will not look good.

PSA he just bought opel from GM for US 2.2 billion and now become 2nd largest car maker in Europe. So it's not bad venture if successful, the technology and markets in consideration

@Woo John... yes agreement is there. Bute who knows what will happen? If they dragged another 2-3 months, what will happen to the stock price especially Geely officially announce pull out from bidding? I do feel they will reachd agreement soon. But how soon? When you see people keep talking about picking up the stock when price is low.. Why the share price keeps dropping?

@Woo John, that would makes you wonder, why they need Proton when they have much better technologies? The only thing would be the ready made assembly plant for Asia market. There are rumours too that they going to build an assembly plant in India too. Would they need so many assembly plant in Asia? After spending US 2.2B, would they have money to spend again in such a short time? Proton would not be getting a good deal from this. PSA is buying the assembly plant rather than Proton.

Normal when corporation future direction unclear. My stance is PSA is a good potential partner and drb should caution to choose most favourable.

Calvin Tan Research Reveals

THE SECRET BEHAVIOR OF EPF!!

Through the decades of watching EPF this is what Calvin Tan Research found out!!

When AMANAH SAHAM BUMI OR TABUNG HAJI WANTS TO BUY CHEAP SHARES

EPF WILL FIRST SELL DOWN FOR THEM TO BUY CHEAP

THEN THE REVERSE IS ALSO TRUE.

WHEN AMANAH SAHAM BUMI OR TABUNG HAJI WANT TO DISPOSE

EPF WILL FIRST BUY AND PUSH UP THE SHARES FOR THEM TO SELL HIGHER

IS THIS ETHICAL?

OR ELSE HOW COULD ASB GIVES 9% to 10% DIVIDEND EVERY YEAR!

AND HOW COULD TABUNG HAJI GIVE 12% DIVIDEND?

WITH ALL THE PRIVY INSIDER KNOWLEGE OF EPF - EPF SHOULD BE GIVING A 10% DIVIDEND

WHY ONLY 5.9%?

ANSWER:

EPF FUNDS HAVE BEEN USED TO SUPPORT ASB & TABUNG HAJI SHARES

SO NOW YOU KNOW THE TRUTH.

SOMETHING BEHIND THE SCENE IS GOING ON.

TOMORROW FIRST THING IN THE MORNING

TAKE POSITION IN DRB!!

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!

Billionaire Li Shufu said he’s planning to pull Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co out of a bid for Proton Holdings Bhd, saying the Malaysian carmaker keeps changing its plans, said Bloomberg.

But it may just be his way of pulling his weight in the negotiations, which are still ongoing with rival PSA owner of Peugeot – still in the battle for the 51% shares of the ailing Malaysian company.

“They keep changing, today it’s this, tomorrow it’s that,” Li said in an interview in Beijing Friday, before attending the opening of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

“They haven’t decided what they want.”

Proton, which needs to bring in a foreign partner to help in research and development as part of conditions it agreed to in order to receive a loan last year.

The Malaysian government is in a hurry to get a suitor for Proton, which is losing money, while an imminent closure of the facilities – meaning the death of the national car icon – would become a political nightmare for Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Proton is controlled by Malaysian tycoon Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary’s DRB-Hicom Bhd, who is said to be close to former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

Mahathir set up Proton in 1983 to steer Malaysia’s industrialization plan.

Proton also owns British sports car maker Lotus Cars Ltd, of which it did not succeed to reap any profit so far.

Lembaga Tabung Haji is the Malaysian hajj pilgrims fund board.

They may be influential on negotiation between DRB and Geely/PSA.

Local funds accumulating.. for instance.. LTH.. very good. Me prefer LTH rather than EPF. Foreigners have been selling bcoz Li Shufu has been parading overseas stating that he’s planning to pull Geely out of a bid for Proton and blamed Proton's inefficiencies.. so as not to lose face. Whereas.. in actual fact.. his proposals may have been "dumped".. hmm

By acquiring Opel, PSA leapfrogs French rival Renault (RENA.PA) to become Europe's second-ranked carmaker by sales, with a 16 percent market share to VW's 24 percent.

Don't forget to take position if you have zero DRB shares.

DRB might suddenly be taken private like Kulim, TMakmur or TheStore

If so then all will miss the Fast Speed Train to privatisation loh!

Hahaha!

All don't know THE TRUE HIDDEN VALUE OF REAL ASSETS

Why JCorp took Kulim private at Rm4.10 when the last 2 final quarter results were bad?

Answer is

KULIM IS SITTING ON OIL PALM LANDS THAT ARE LITERAL GOLD MINES IN JOHOR!

Why TheStore Boss offered to take it private at Rm3.70 when business is just so-so only?

Answer:

The Properties & Shops still at Old Old Book Value. So after buying & taking private TheStore he can easily sell off all the Assets alone and reap 200% as Calvin Tan Research gave NTA at Rm10.00

Why Tmakmur taken private by Pahang Sultan when it was traded around Rm1.40?

Answer:

TMakmur's land is sitting on bauxide mines of immense value!

Why DRB making losses after losses got value?

Of course! Why not?

POS lands got 200 years history

HICOM Lands got 100 years history

Think of these worthless lands turn into pure gold:

1) PAVILION IN BUKIT BINTANG WAS ONCE BBGS GIRLS' SCHOOL

2) Sg Besi Military Camp is now BANDAR MALAYSIA

3) PUDU JAIL GOT VALUE? A prison where many died there?
YES! IT HAS IMMENSE VALUE!

SYED MOKTAR TOOK BANDAR SRI ALAM (UM LAND) PRIVATE AND MADE IT INTO TE CITY OF KNOWLEDGE!!

WILL SYED MOKTAR ALSO TAKE POS/DRB PRIVATE FOR THEIR GOLDEN LANDS?

BETTER DON'T MISS DRB NOW!!
