All I do not know is the refined derivative losses which I cannot get this information from any reliable source.
Based on probability's calculation on hedging, a loss of 200 million is very good.
Cannot say much until we read the Q2 2022 result.

Low crude oil is good news to Hengyuan because the raw material price is cheap.
Crack spread will affect the profit margin of Hengyuan, not the low crude price.

With decreasing ASP =
palm oil n crude oil stocks r dropping fast in prices as the next QR PAT is certain to decrease.

Commodity stocks r just for short term play when its respective commodity is on bull run in prices, purely due to speculative premium.
Then commodity stocks become value.stocks as its QR PAT will increase in a big way but last short term, 1 to 2 QR max.
They r so difference compare to growth.stocks that could grow 4 to 8 QR.


NB: when we play commodity stocks next time, need to remember this line:
The commodity market can be quite unforgiving when you go into a recession and supplies outstrip demand.

Saudi Arabia is charging Asian buyers near-record prices for oil as demand soars and supply remains pressured.

Saudi Arabia will raise oil prices next month for Asian buyers to $9.30 a barrel above the regional benchmark.

Prices from of the world's largest oil producers have skyrocketed past other countries in the Middle East.

Although OPEC+ agreed to raise production in July and August, experts say it'll be hard to meet targets.

Please take note hengyuan have 1-month feedstock crude oil storage tank capacity and 1 week end product refined oil storage tank capacity.

Based on first in first out policy, if crude oil and refined oil tumbling, the huge storage capacity on both feedstock and end product need to mark to market price.
