@bloombird i havent bought airline stocks YET. I will be looking for entry when i see cases in malaysia starts coming down to less than 1k cases per day. Mco will be switched to pkpp when that happens. Sold gloves for a tiny profit. Btw, uk covid cases are going down. Vaccine is working.

The estimated COVID-19 R number in the UK has dropped sharply and is likely to be below one, the British health ministry said on Friday, with the pandemic estimated to be shrinking by as much as 4% a day.

The latest R estimate for the whole of the UK is between 0.8 and 1.0, down from a range of 1.2 to 1.3 last week, meaning that on average, every 10 people infected will infect between 8 and 10 other people.

The growth rate estimate for the UK is between -4% and -1%, the health ministry said. Last week it was estimated to be growing by +2% to +5%.

You can only wish to get it below 0.5, try to get it again next pandemic during MCO when there are no vaccines, except there won't be a next time for this counter because by that time, AirAsia will be more diversified.

There is not a single airline stock right now that is close to going below their share prices before Nov 8.

I'm just saying that the global trend is not on your side. A vaccine passport helps and is being adopted by several countries now. Singapore ramping up vaccinations helps a lot for Malaysia since they account for about 40% of tourist in Malaysia.

More than 12,400 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Israel after getting inoculated by the Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine, including 69 people who had taken their second jab.

Israel's health ministry tested 189,000 people after they vaccinated by Pfizer's vaccine and 6.6 per cent of the people still tested positive for COVID-19
Earlier, Nachman Ash, national coordinator on the pandemic had said that Pfizer's vaccine was "less effective than we had thought".

Israel launched a vaccination drive on December 19 with a focus on the elderly, those with risky medical conditions and some emergency workers. More than a quarter of its citizens have now received the Pfizer Inc. vaccine, health officials say.

About a quarter of Israelis have received their first vaccine shot and 3.5 per cent already got their second dose.

Since the rollout of vaccinations one month ago, the Jewish state had inoculated more than 2.2 million of its nine million inhabitants, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said Tuesday.

6.6% still tested positive after taking the Pfizer vaccine in Israel is no good. In Stage 3 clinical trial, only 6 out of 170 tested positive belongs to participants which had taken 2 doses of Pfizer, out of a pool 41,135 that went through the test. 6 out of 41,135 multiply by 2 (assuming half are given the vaccine and the other half placebo) is 0.03%. So 6.6% is 220 times more than expected.

And, if the precentage of people without vaccine but gotten infected is less than 6.6%, then the vaccine is causing more harm than good in actual, or that it may suggest the vaccine is ineffective against the new variant that we may have known or not known as yet.

Mearz, I can tell that you are a new/amateur investor, you clearly haven't done your research on AA since they have gained nearly half a billion revenue last quarter. Investing is never that simple as to just look at the fundamentals. If it were that simple, more people would have make money in the stock market. In my opinion, while fundamentals are important, growth is more important for a company like AirAsia. Fundamental is only more important if there isn't room for growth left. Of course what is more important for AirAsia right now is survival.
