I concur with dragon328's remarks regarding the limited RE potential play, especially with the very recent developments on the M'sian side of the Causeway. Better for Seraya in the medium term to focus on consolidating its market share via its baseload units, secure in the knowledge that it has ample gas supply. And market share growth coupled with uptick in demand is looming, especially as another genco contemplates a reduction in its registered capacity as its 2004 units (some 9% of the total generation capacity in the system) become older and less efficient. Already, its market share of metered energy has been significantly lower than its share of registered gen cap, based on the latest NEMS Issue Paper 68.

Everheard of pullback consolidation?
It will consolidate between 1.36 to 1.80 n this will take months to unfold.

新加坡4Gw的RE进口。13/9
虽然RE进口还未正式开幕，不过各国的竞争出口RE至新加坡似乎越演越烈。目前更新的有：
1. 砂拉越与Sembcorp Industries and SP Group的合作。这海底电缆由新加坡承包，长度约700公里。砂拉越的优势是有强大的水坝。目前知道的其他国家的发电来源主要还是太阳能加电磁储备。
2. 印尼Batam岛出口大阳能。20km的海底电缆。优势是距离非常近。
3. 澳洲太阳能4200km的海底电缆。似乎死灰复燃。
4. 西马（TNB和PS的合作）。实力最强大，不过目前却是最低调，都没什么官方新闻提到出口RE至新加坡。期待出口细节的公布。

几年前，新加坡住家电源供应开放之前，好多新发电厂加入战场。结果死伤惨重。

未来几年，似乎历史即将重演，只是发电厂转到国外。看看各国开始放话，都要积极地插上一脚，好分一块蛋糕的趋势，就可以预测RE进口的战争将会异常激烈。

FY24和FY25视乎是风暴前的宁静。

Our first hydroelectric plant (HEP) at Batang Ai (108MW) was commissioned in 1985, with Bakun HEP (2,400MW) in 2011, followed by Murum HEP (944MW) in 2014. Currently, Baleh hydroelectric project (1,285MW) is under construction and is expected to be commissioned by 2027. The total installed capacity of our large hydro plants is 3,452MW.

Crude oil prices are at 2023 year high, matching towards US$100/bbl in near term.

High oil prices will have two positive effects on YTLPower:
1) it will promote a more favourable outcome from the Jordan arbitration case

Another married deal - 95 million shares changed hands at RM2.08 last minute today.

No wonder YTLP share price slided back in the afternoon, bcoz the deal was agreed at RM2.08. Hapseng share price also had some 30 million shares changed hands last minute today.

Looks like some funds are preparing ahead of next Monday when these 2 stocks will welcome more foreign funds buying.
