Foreign funds are net buying stocks listed in KLSE everyday since February month.
I hope a bull market is coming to KLSE.
We have not seen a bull market in KLSE since 1993/4.
I hope it is a real one.
I hope to see YTLPower breaks new high (4.24 ATH) soon.

The highest point of Jakarta Composite index (JKSE) was at 743 in 1993, the present JKSE is at 7,323 on 18/2/2024, an increase of 6,580 points or 886% in the last 30 years.
Indonesian investors are super rich.

The highest point of FBMKLCI was at 1,332 in 1994, the present FBMKLCI is closed at 1,534 on 16/2/2024, an increase of 202 points or 15.3% in the last 30 years.
Malaysian investors are very poor.

Very sad for Malaysian investors.

KLSE stock market is far ... far ... worse than other stock markets in the last 30 years.

Even the share price of YTLPower moves up north to 5.88, it is still nothing to compare against other best performing stock in other stock market.
KLSE is still a laggard stock market in SEA.

T+7 to have facilitated the bull run, no doubt.
But without this "T+7" factor, the bull run still can happen.
There are a few points that must be present before the foreign funds rushing into our local share market.

1. Growing Interest rates differentiation between the local bank and the foreign banks, especially if USA is beginning to stabilize and reducing their interest rates as the inflation rate is subsiding.

2. The local currency is weaker even compare the the close neighbours...

T+7 is not the main reason for a bull market.

I was very honour to be invited by KLSE (Bursa) chairman to a meeting 2 years ago.
I presented my facts and figures on the performance of KLSE against others SEA stock markets, we are very surprised that KLSE is one of the worst performers in the last 30 years.

The Bursa chairman presented his facts showing that the FDs in the local banks were the highest in 2011/2.
It means the local investors preferred to put the money in the FD instead of investing the money in KLSE.
The local investors have no confidence on our KLSE, this is the main reason that KLSE perform so badly in the last 30 years.
With the change of a new government led by DSAI, I hope the bull market will return to KLSE after 30 years.

i believe that the profit from power seraya has plateued and likely will not go up or go up slightly only and may start to weaken maybe in about 2 quarters time....but at least we can be comforted that the big wave of earnings will be from wessex water as the tariff adjustment will come around that time.....

also, a reliable bird from the fund industry mentioned that the attarat power arbitration is actually a done deal as the bilings received are at contractual volume for quite some time despite it is still in arbitration. So the USD100 mil from attarat considered secured.

Nvidia - a quarter revenue is more than US22 B , with 50% as net profit , namely US 10B+ , with even RM 1B per quarter for YTL Power , one quarter of Nvidia is 10 years of YTL power … nothing beats if Nvidia just buys 0.1% of YTL power , it would shake the whole market ..
