Yes Jerry, was thinking about that too... usually mother will give discounted price for the share swap deal...

But my guess is if the share swap deal is 1.45-1.50 per YTL share... it's not so good to jump in now... and this is purely my opinion only .... and that's why YTL still not moving until the privatization is completed.....

Thats why FY buy back share, bcs they ll not offer an high take over price. If they willing they dont need to hv sbb. But straight away offer an high price to take over. Im not sure what ll be an good entry price. But i hv bought in from 1.5 , 1.55 and 1.60 level. Think i hv got enough for long term

FY is a clever businessman, when YTLP shares is finished to be absorbed at current low level, the next target is its WB. Like the Mbf Datuk Ninian done last time. Just keep tightly both to earn big money....

I opt to buy YTL corp at 1.60 instead of waiting to re-enter YTLP and WB. YTL corp entitle first interim dividend 1.5sen, + second interim dividend in next 3 month like last year

I'm still holding ytlp & wb...

If you said ytl will gain most from ytlp privatisation, that's a solid reason to buy ytlp... because the share swap deal will traditionally offer the mother or ytl share at lower price... by the tome ytlp convert to ytl shares, you will enjoy a discount price for ytl shares and at the same time to enjoy sbb to push up ytl share price. :) :)

Most likely will know whether ytlp will win the project 3B next week. Under the revised transparancy bidding rule... any new ipp plant MUST be awarded to the lowest bidding price Ipp.. so EC is cracking their head if they don't award to ytlp... lolz
