Although the current market condition directly equate AI developments with nvidia, the fact of the matter is that this could shift quite drastically if another method of processing data faster and more efficiently gets discovered. The moat for nvidia is that they have an existing GPGPU and CUDA foundation that sets the ecosystem standards for the past few years and at least another 3 years.

For those looking into AI space, do monitor the space of RISCV developments as this is the open source alternative where China will likely want to put a lot of emphasis in due to the current tech/chip war waged by the western front. Another point is that Jim Keller, a microarchitecture titan is deeply involved in using RISCV for AI and he starts to comment on the inefficiencies with nvidia's ecosystem. This was also the guy that helped AMD lay the foundation of the Ryzen/EPYC series processor a decade back when AMD was at the brink of dying. Look at how AMD is now.....

what nvidia can do now is to capture as many clients into the hardware and software stack, and make the switching cost as high as possible. It is understandable and most feasable for nvidia to do so to capture the profits in this market space now.....but being in the tech space is always be on the lookout for disruptors that can emerge very quickly to upseat you....

The climate risks sparked by AI-driven computing are far-reaching – and will worsen without a big shift from fossil fuel-based electricity to clean power. Nvidia Corp chief executive officer Jensen Huang has said AI has hit a ‘tipping point”. He has also said that the cost of data centres will double within five years to power the rise of new software.

Already, data centres and transmission networks each account for up to 1.5% of global consumption, according to the International Energy Agency. Together, they’re responsible for emitting about as much carbon dioxide as Brazil annually.

Hyperscalers – as the biggest data center owners like Google, Microsoft and Amazon are known – have all set climate goals and are facing internal and external pressure to deliver on them. Those lofty targets include decarbonising their operations.

But the rise of AI is already wreaking havoc on those goals. Graphics processing units have been key to the rise of large language models and use more electricity than central processing units used in other forms of computing. Training an AI model uses the more power than 100 households in a year, according to IEA estimates.

“The growth in AI is far outstripping the ability to produce clean power for it,” he said.

No matter how good a company, sharks still need to recollect tickets before pushing up further. The sooner this is over, the better for everyone to ride on the next break out.

Don't keep the rest of the bilises wait too long- they have been patiently watching every day. Of course, Sharks can push all the way to RM or PE 100 as long as the tickets are in their hands. The earlier you bilises guys return the tickets, the earlier we can ride on the next bullish wave. UNDERSTAND!!??

We can accept any differing views but not nonsensical or irrelevant shouts without any supporting facts and figures. Most investor have an idea or reason why they invested in the YTL group of companies. Always asked yourself what is the risk vs reward ratio or potential growth of the particular stock. Financial ratio , PER , yield , operating cash flow , accounting figs and peer segment comparison. Not so dumb coconut comments without any relevancy. if you are a genuine shareholder invested in YTL group you must have look at their reports or latest new flow. Not silly or dumb comments without any relevancy on the topic.

2021年，我读了YTLP最新的收购新加坡数据中心的报道（YTL Power acquires 12.5MW green hyperscale data centre in Singapore
），里面提到这是YTLP迈向DC区域化的第一步。当时候我想，难道YTLP想要在东南亚各国收购或建设DC来达成这个目标？

经过古来土地的收购，500MW的DC，加上去年8/12/2023宣布的于Nvidia合作，才知道，原来，成为东南亚区域的数据中心，是可以透过云端服务来达成，不需要在各国插旗。

这个雄心，已经在多年前，就已经开始部署，而且是有策略、前进式地部署。这也是我长期成为YTLP股东的原因之一。

数据中心的竞争是异常激烈，这是正常的，也是免不了的。做生意本来就是要预备心面对激烈的竞争。

好是好在，YTLP老早就已经低调地部署所需要的一切，包括客户的来源。

就在DC还未开幕之前，就已经有客户预定了DC服务，并成为DC的核心客户。

我相信，AI服务也会是类似情况。
若是已经有客户排队要预定古来的AI服务，也并不稀奇。

All these point are trivial really as it is currently running in the pyramid scheme zone (PSZ). So, it plays by the PSZ rules i.e. sharks can push all the way to RM or PE 100 as long as the tickets are in their hands. DC providers need to use RE in order to comply...and its crucial that RE is obtained from the most competitive environment...cheapest land with ample reliable sunlight (near equator), and cheap abundant water
