if the current opposition takes it, the shares of this stock will definitely drop. this is because the opposition has been harping that the govt is giving lop-sided concession to IPPs.

By right, all concession should hold and anything that will be renewed should be by letter of law. What good is judicial system if the letter of the law is not complied but changed according to the government election? then again, can Tenaga generate enough electricity without these IPPs. Remember, international fund managers takes all these into consideration.

fear will play a factor now. If the opposition will hold to their promise and abolish the concessions, then many will feel the uncertainty. There will indeed be turmoil for the IPPs (or cronies according to the biggest benefactor cronies in town, Anwar and Azmin) :)

I wish you are right kc :D, but i won't take the risk. I have taken into consideration of return vs risk over this counter. I don't think it has much space to up, 1.90 or max 2.00... For me, i already satisfy with the return at 1.82, so i quit the game, good luck for those still keeping it :D whether it will drop like hell or not, lets wait and see... I believe im right...

IPP in Malaysia only give YTLP ard 15% of the profit. With more than
RM9Bil in hand, when they buy new asset, the price can up again. YES also will reach breakeven very soon. Anyway, YTL Power-W is another good choice if you think the mother can up some more.

Honestly, for me YTLP worth more than RM2.50... But with the current condition i won't buy in anymore...If really wanna buy, i will buy YTL.. cause i know YTL is going to take advantage to buy ytlp once ytlp share price keep dropping... I believe it will..

YTL and its groups of companys are doing very profitable but.. doesn't share it or reward its shareholders.. Also... wonder why.. as a big conglomerates company and well know in the industry.. its share price look kindda depressing.. seems gravity have a strong pull

the star wrote privatized in coming 10 years..even wassex is down 6% as europe is doing bad..Yes starting to make money but still slow..its overseas business and and local business is not so well either.plus now lose the ppa extension.
