@rchi, there won't be any forex loss to be booked in by YTL Power for ringgit appreciation against Sing dollar. Of course YTLP will book in less profit in ringgit terms from PowerSeraya.

On the contrary, YTLP may book in a forex gain if it wants to for the SGD1.0 billion borrowings sitting at PowerSeraya, instead of RM3.5 billion earlier, now it has become RM3.3 billion of borrowings in ringgit terms. YTLP could book in a forex gain of RM200 million if it chooses to.

Kind of weird , so many masters share a lot of technical knowledge and info about YTLpower and keep talking down or bad about YTLP, just curious what do they gain ? Given their wisdom and smartness , shouldn’t they spend time buying more stocks better than YTLPower ? Or why don’t they buy all shares of YTLP and take over to become majority shareholders and teach Yeoh family to run the business

The technical chart looks bearish.
The share price is in consolidation mode, however, the uptrend is still intact.
The share price is still above 200-day SMA.
The next support is at 4.61.
The second support is at 4.46.
The third support is at 4.22.

All Sifu OTB's TA support pecah.....waiting to cut loss at 200 SMA ah?

This is a broad based selling by foreign funds on fears of a US recession and escalation of conflicts in the Middle East (reports saying that Iran is going to strike Israel as early as today).

Any buying must be on long term investment basis, and holding period must be long enough to ride through these few months of volatility.

Day trade will make some kopi
money today...but remember to sell before market close. Better buy below 4.10...and sell at 4.30.
I will not recommend to hold more than 1 day unless price drop to below 3 then you can hold for short term.
